    CHANGE is HERE 8/1/21 susan allen 2 Cor 10:3 NIV  For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. (kjv carnal-pertaining to the flesh) On the contrary, they have divine power (kjv mighty-capable and powerful) to demolish (kjv pulling down- making extinct) strongholds.(thought patterns that have been fortified, reinforced by meditation, words or experiences-that war against God’s Word)  5 We demolish (cast down BY FORCE) arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God (what God knows is true) and we take captive (bring under control) every thought to make it obedient to Christ. EVERYTHING in this passage is FORCEFUL Col 3:5 niv Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. 6 Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.  7 You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. 8 But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. 9 Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices 10 and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.                        ^to be changed, renovated   KNOWLEDGE of God’s Word will create THAT IMAGE. THIS WORD is your mirror 2 Cor 3:13 esv 13 not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face so that the Israelites might not gaze at the outcome of what was being brought to an end. 14 But their minds were hardened. For to this day, when they read the old covenant, that same veil remains unlifted, because only through Christ is it taken away. 15 Yes, to this day whenever Moses is read a veil lies over their hearts. 16 But when one turns to the Lord, the veil is removed. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18 And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit. EVERY ONE of us has an image in front of us. A mirror that we see ourselves in.  WHAT that mirror IS…IS EXTREMELY important. 2 Cor 4:16 says that our inward man can become renewed day by day Rom 12:1 amp  I APPEAL to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship. 2 Do not be conformed* to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you]. *Do not be conformed: is a STOP SIGN. Forbidding the continuation of an action formally in progress
    1. Make a decisive dedication of yourself. Bodies, thoughts
    2. Do it as an act of worship
    3. STOP being conformed START being transformed
      You can’t just STOP something, you have to also START something   Phil 4:8 niv Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable — if anything is excellent or praiseworthy — think about such things. Message: Summing it all up, friends, I'd say you'll do best by filling your minds and meditating on these things Prov 4:20-My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.   IS 55:7  INSTEAD OF

    Building A Strong Tower 7/25/21 susan allen Don’t underestimate the POWER of the Words of GOD in you. THE WORD brings a stability to our mind James 1:8 kjv  A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.   2 Cor 10:3 niv For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they (Eph 6) have divine power to demolish (kjv to pull down=to destroy by force) strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, (what God knows is true) and we take captive (bring under control) every thought to make it obedient to Christ. (Thought patterns that war against God’s truth, thoughts that have been fortified -reinforced by meditation, words or experience strongholds are areas in your thoughts that the enemy can hide in and bring destruction throughout your life until you destroy it)   Ps 61:2 kjv From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. 3 For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy. Ps 119:9 esv How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word. (TPT: ONLY BY living in the Word of God and walking in its truth)10 With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments! 11 I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. 12 Blessed are you, O Lord; teach me your statutes! 13 With my lips I declare all the rules of your mouth.14 In the way of your testimonies I delight as much as in all riches. 15 I will meditate on your precepts and fix my eyes on your ways. 16 I will delight in your statutes; I will not forget your word. Luke 4 Heb 8:10 kjvI will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts amp…I will imprint My laws upon their minds, even upon their innermost thoughts and understanding, and engrave them upon their hearts What do you have to think?
