Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” Rom 10:1 ESV 1 Brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved. 2 For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. 3 For, being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness. 4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. 5 For Moses writes about the righteousness that is based on the law, that the person who does the commandments shall live by them. 6 But the righteousness based on faith says, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’” (that is, to bring Christ down) 7 “or ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); 9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. 11 For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. 13 For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” WE were made in the image of a SPEAKING GOD GOD USES HIS WORDS TO SPEAK HIS WILL He created us with a SPEAKER on the inside of us What is your speaker connected to? Matt 12:33 ESV to the Pharisees “Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree bad and its fruit bad, for the tree is known by its fruit. 34 You brood of vipers! How can you speak good, when you are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. 35 The good person out of his good treasure brings forth good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure brings forth evil. Mark Hankins: The Word was spoken before it was written and it was written so it can be spoken Heb 11:3 ESV By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible. Isa 55:6-ESV “Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near;7 let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. 8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.10 “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, 11 so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it. 12 “For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. 13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress; instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle; and it shall make a name for the Lord, an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.” James 3:1-ESV Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness. 2 For we all stumble in many ways. And if anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle his whole body. 3 If we put bits into the mouths of horses so that they obey us, we guide their whole bodies as well. 4 Look at the ships also: though they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are guided by a very small rudder wherever the will of the pilot directs. 5 So also the tongue is a small member, yet it boasts of great things. How great a forest is set ablaze by such a small fire!6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of unrighteousness. The tongue is set among our members, staining the whole body, setting on fire the entire course of life, and set on fire by hell. 7 For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and sea creature, can be tamed and has been tamed by mankind, 8 but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. 9 With it we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse people who are made in the likeness of God. 10 From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so. 11 Does a spring pour forth from the same opening both fresh and salt water? 12 Can a fig tree, my brothers, bear olives, or a grapevine produce figs? Neither can a salt pond yield fresh water.

(Greek: longanimity, forbearance, fortitude) Heb 11 By faith Abel, By faith, Enoch and by faith Noah, (walked with God), by faith Abraham, (friend of God) through faith Sarah received strength to conceive!, by faith Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, By faith the wall of Jerico fell …. THE just shall LIVE BY FAITH (Heb 10:38) Isa 40:25-ESV To whom then will you compare me, that I should be like him? says the Holy One. 26 Lift up your eyes on high and see: who created these? He who brings out their host by number, calling them all by name, by the greatness of his might, and because he is strong in power not one is missing. 27 Why do you say, O Jacob, and speak, O Israel, “My way is hidden from the Lord, and my right is disregarded by my God”? 28 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. 29 He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. 30 Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; 31 but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. Ps 119:86-ESV All your commandments are sure; they persecute me with falsehood; help me! 87 They have almost made an end of me on earth, but I have not forsaken your precepts. 88 In your steadfast love give me life, that I may keep the testimonies of your mouth.89 Forever, O Lord, your word is firmly fixed in the heavens. 90 Your faithfulness endures to all generations; you have established the earth, and it stands fast. 91 By your appointment they stand this day, for all things are your servants. 92 If your law had not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction. 93 I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have given me life. 1 Sam 16 the Prophet Samuel anointed David to be King WAYS to STAY TAPPED IN: A thankful heart, Ps 69:30 I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving. Reading/meditating on the Word/DO IT, Ps 119:10 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Joshua 1:7,8 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hance or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therin day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. Prayer life (relationship), where there is not a love relationship, faith will not be long term because faith involves TRUST…Trust is built in relationship Ps 27:13-14 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.14 Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord. Matt 26:41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. Jude 20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. Praise, Ps 34:1-4 I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.2 My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.4 I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. Guard your heart gates---eyes, ears, mouth, feet Prov 4:20- My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.24 Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.25 Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.26 Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.27 Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil. Faith community: Col 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. REDEDICATE250: A National Jubilee of Prayer, Praise and Thanksgiving When Solomon had finished the House of the Lord and the King’s house, the Lord appeared to him and said: 2 Chron 7:14 KJV If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 1 Tim 2:1-KJV I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.7 Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.8 I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
- May 10, 20265/10/26-The FAITH Filled Prayer – Susan AllenMay 10, 20265/10/26-The FAITH Filled Prayer – Susan AllenBy: Susan AllenSeries: Faith & BeyondThe Faith FILLED Prayer Happy Mother’s Day! 5/10/26 Susan Allen John 19:25-NKJV Now there stood by the cross of Jesus His mother, and His mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. 26 When Jesus therefore saw His mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing by, He said to His mother, "Woman, behold your son!" 27 Then He said to the disciple, "Behold your mother!" And from that hour that disciple took her to his own home. 28 After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, "I thirst!" *Prayer is something we always have with us. *Prayer GOES PLACES we cannot go. Rom 8:24 KJV For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? 25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience (cheerful or hopeful endurance, constancy, continuance) wait for it. (expect fully, expect eagerly) 26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth (to take hold with at the side for assistance, co-operate, to take a share in, to help in bearing, to help in obtaining) our infirmities: (feebleness in mind or body, weakness, lake of strength) for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession (to make a petition on behalf of another) for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.(in articulate speech) 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.28 And we know that all things work together (fellow-worker, co-operate) for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. This is the FAITH FILLED prayer, not the FEAR FILLED PRAYER 1 Peter 5:7AMP Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully. [Ps 55:22.] Prayer is timeless. Your prayers will outlive you. Don’t separate your saying from your praying James 5:13-KJV Is any among you afflicted? (undergoing hardship) let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. 14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. 16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent (active, at work, in action, putting forth power) prayer of a righteous man availeth much. AMP=The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].
- May 3, 20265/3/26-The Blessing Of Faith – Susan AllenMay 3, 20265/3/26-The Blessing Of Faith – Susan AllenBy: Susan AllenSeries: Faith & BeyondThe BLESSING of FAITH 5/3/2026 RCC Family Day Faith doesn’t say what is seen with our eyes FAITH SAYS WHAT GOD SEES (I say what God sees) Gen 1:26-ESV Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.28 And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” He did not just create them—but after creating them He BLESSED THEM God’s Words spoken to them directed them -empowered them-Words are permissive and tell them His expectation “oh this is who we are and what we are to do” We see “God’s blessing” spoken INTO PEOPLE throughout scripture Gen 9 God BLESSED Noah and His sons Gen 12 to Abram/Abraham In Gen we also start seeing people BLESSING people by speaking into their lives Father’s blessing their children (ex: Gen 27) Num 6:22 ESV The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 23 “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, Thus you shall bless the people of Israel: you shall say to them,24 The Lord bless you and keep you; 25 the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; 26 the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. 27 “So shall they put my name upon the people of Israel, and I will bless them.” WORDS LEAVE A MARK on MINDS The Words that we speak can even be generational—in fact they are meant to be The words spoken in the blessing to Adam and Eve still affect us and direct us The words spoken in the blessing to Abram were said to effect and direct us (Gal 3:13- Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. kjv) Though correction must be done, we must learn to word it strategically “You are lazy’ is directional, empowering, permissive and expectant of laziness –or---“I believe you can do better getting your chores done” if you have been marked by negative words study Num 23 Num 23:18-ESV “Rise, Balak, and hear; give ear to me, O son of Zippor:19 God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it? 20 Behold, I received a command to bless: he has blessed, and I cannot revoke it. Mark 10:13-ESV And they were bringing children to him that he might touch them, and the disciples rebuked them. 14 But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. 15 Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” 16 And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them. NT:21271. eulogeo (<START GREEK>eu)loge/w<END GREEK>, NT:2127), lit., "to speak well of" (eu, "well," logos, "a word"), signifies, (a) "to praise, to celebrate with praises," of that which is addressed to God, acknowledging His goodness, with desire for His glory, Luke 1:64; 2:28; 24:51,53; James 3:9; (b) "to invoke blessings upon a person," e. g., Luke 6:28; Rom 12:14. The present participle passive, "blessed, praised," is especially used of Christ in Matt 21:9; 23:39, and the parallel passages; also in John 12:13; (c) "to consecrate a thing with solemn prayers, to ask God's blessing on a thing," e. g., Luke 9:16; 1 Cor 10:16; (d) "to cause to prosper, to make happy, to bestow blessings on," said of God, e. g., in Acts 3:26; Gal 3:9; Eph 1:3. Cf. the synonym aineo, "to praise." See PRAISE. (Vine’s Expository Dictionary of Biblical Words)
