The Power of Light Remains 8/6/23 susan allen Darkness may seem stronger it is NOT Lucifer tried to ascend his throne (IS 14:12-) *Luke 10:18-kjv  I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. LIGHT overcame the darkness & this present darkness is not stronger than that. The power of Light remains *Gen 1:3-niv And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. *Gen 6 the world was corrupt and full of violence This darkness is not stronger than that darkness. The power of Light remains. Sodom and Gomorrah ---became filled with evils (Gen 18) This darkness is not stronger than that darkness. The POWER of LIGHT REMAINS. The tower of babel, the accounts of the children of Israel, AND JESUS CHRIST defeating death, hell and the grave Overcoming every force of evil/darkness This darkness is not stronger than THAT. The power of light remains! Light is not scared of darkness, it shines through it John 1:1-ESV In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.                                   ^suppressed it, subjugated it, dominated it You do NOT dispel darkness by talking about the darkness That is not what happened in Gen 1   John 9:5 niv While I am in the world, I am the light of the world." WE ARE INDEED IN IT…WE ARE JUST NOT OF IT   John 17:1- niv After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed: 6 "I have revealed you to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word. 7 Now they know that everything you have given me comes from you. 8 For I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me. 9 I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours. 10 All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to me through them. 11 I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name — the name you gave me — so that they may be one as we are one. 12 While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that Scripture would be fulfilled. 13 "I am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them. 14 I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world. 15 My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. 17 Sanctify (separate/dedicate) them by the truth; your word is truth. 18 As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. 19 For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified. 20 "My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message WE ARE THE LIGHT “SENT”. THE power of LIGHT REMAINS in YOU   Eph 5:8- For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) 10 and find out what pleases the Lord. 11 Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. 12 For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. 13 But everything exposed by the light becomes visible, 14 for it is light that makes everything visible. This is why it is said: "Wake up, O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you." The days are evil…but that darkness is not stronger than the LIGHT that REMAINS in YOU.
