Come, Follow Me – Susan Allen
Come, Follow Me 6/6/21 susan allen Matt 4:18 niv  As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. 19 "Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men."  20 At once they left their nets and followed him. 21 Going on from there, he saw two other brothers, James son of Zebedee and his brother John. They were in a boat with their father Zebedee, preparing their nets. Jesus called them, 22 and immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him. 23 Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.   With His voice/word comes the faith to obey  Ruth, Enoch, Noah, Mary Magdalene, study the disciples, Heb 11 Gen 12:1 kjv- Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.4 So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran. GOD IS PROGRESSIVE Matt 16:21 niv  From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life. 22 Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. "Never, Lord!" he said. "This shall never happen to you!" 23 Jesus turned and said to Peter, "Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men." 24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. 25 For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it. 26 What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul? 27 For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father's glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what he has done. 28 I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom." Eph 4:12 amp His intention was the perfecting and the full equipping of the saints (His consecrated people), [that they should do] the work of ministering toward building up Christ's body (the church)   John 14:12 kjv Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.   read the gospels MATT MK LK JOHN John 10:27 niv  My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.                                    ^my words                                  ^where His word leads me

The LOVE Factor – Susan Allen
The LOVE Factor 5/30/21 susan allen  “Why don’t you ask me for it?”   Rom 10:17 kjv So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. “With HIS voice comes the faith to obey.” B. Johnson   Enoch in Gen 5 Noah in Gen 6 Abraham was called the “friend of God” The disciples   Matt 4:18 niv 18 As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love. (message: what matters is something far more interior) 7 You were running a good race. Who cut in on you and kept you from obeying the truth? 8 That kind of persuasion does not come from the one who calls you.   AM I WILLING TO LEAVE WHAT I am familiar with and FOLLOW HIM? What counts is faith that works by love Amp: faith activated and energized and expressed and working through love Heb 11:5 kjv5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. What does your faith bring HIM?
    1. Must believe that He exists
    2. Must believe that He rewards those who seek Him
Luke 12:32 says…it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.   James 4  You have not- because you ask not
