INFLUENCE
Mother’s Day 5/12/24
Prov 31:30 AMP Charm and grace are deceptive, and beauty is vain [because it is not lasting], but a woman who reverently and worshipfully fears the Lord, she shall be praised! (CELEBRATED)
YOUR INFLUENCE is ALWAYS POWERFUL, even if they are watching from a distance.
INFLUENCE: the capacity to have an effect on the character, development or behavior of someone
The scriptures are very plain the influence of a woman
Gen 2:18 AMP Now the Lord God said, It is not good (sufficient, satisfactory) that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper meet (suitable, adapted, complementary) for him.
GEN 3 influence of the same woman used in the wrong way
We have prov 31 praising the virtuous woman
Titus 2 speaking of her outstanding influence on other women
Prov 5 speaking of the “strange” woman and the destruction she can bring
And the satisfaction a good wife can bring
Prov 6 starting in verse 24 the warning against the words, and fluttering eyes of the ungodly woman that can take your strength
Prov 12 you can be a crown to your husband or rottenness in his bones
Prov 14 a wise woman who BUILDS her HOUSE and the FOOLISH ONE that tears it down with her own hands.
2 Tim 3 warns us that satan will try to use the influence of woman to worm his way into the home with deception
OH the POWER and RESPONSIBILITY of INFLUENCE!
Don’t let anything in the past steal the opportunity of influencing the future
Whether they are watching closely or from a distance…they are watching!
Read “She Chose to Fight” by Chelsy Lyles
Have faith in the seeds of influence you are sowing now
Don’t try to force things…but let the power of the seed of influence do its work
Satan found your womanhood worth attacking
but
GOD, The CREATOR of the UNIVERSE THOUGHT it was WORTH WRITING ABOUT
Titus 2:3-NIV Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. 4 Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, 5 to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.
Prov 5:3 NKJV For the lips of an immoral woman drip honey, And her mouth is smoother than oil; 4 But in the end she is bitter as wormwood, Sharp as a two-edged sword. 5 Her feet go down to death, Her steps lay hold of hell. 6 Lest you ponder her path of life — Her ways are unstable; You do not know them. :18 Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.
Prov 6:24-NKJV To keep you from the evil woman, From the flattering tongue of a seductress. 25 Do not lust after her beauty in your heart, Nor let her allure you with her eyelids. 26 For by means of a harlot A man is reduced to a crust of bread; And an adulteress will prey upon his precious life. 27 Can a man take fire to his bosom, And his clothes not be burned?
Prov 12:4 KJV A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.
Prov 14:1 KJV Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.
2 Tim 3:6-NKJV For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, 7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth
PROV 31
Gen 2:18 AMP Now the Lord God said, It is not good (sufficient, satisfactory) that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper meet (suitable, adapted, complementary) for him.
