Faith That Changes Things Understanding Authority 5/25/25 susan allen   Matt 8:1-KJV When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him. 2 And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. 3 And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.   THE WORD OF GOD IS THE WILL OF GOD. HIS WORD IS HIS WILL. verse 5 And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion (captain over 100 men), beseeching him, 6 And saying, Lord, (supreme in authority) my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented. 7 And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him. 8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. 9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.10 When Jesus heard it, he marveled (admired it), and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. verse 13 And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour. 14 And when Jesus was come into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother laid, and sick of a fever. 15 And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them. 16 When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: 17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.    John 12:49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. 50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak. John 14:10 the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.   Mark 4:35-And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side.36 And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.37 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.40 And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith? 41 And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?   the kind of man who UNDERSTOOD what He had been given authority over. what did Jesus expect of them, what would faith have looked like?   *Read Matthew Mark Luke John & Acts and watch Jesus, disciples & apostles

5/11/25 – Faith That Changes Things: Faith Not Fiction – Susan Allen
Faith That Changes Things Faith Not Fiction 5/11/25 Susan Allen Heb 11:1 KJV - Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.   AMP- NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]. 2 For by [faith — trust and holy fervor born of faith] the men of old had divine testimony borne to them and obtained a good report. 3 By faith we understand that the worlds [during the successive ages] were framed (fashioned, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose) by the word of God, so that what we see was not made out of things which are visible.   Q: WHAT IF, what you are persuaded of becomes substance?   FAITH IS NOT A FAIRY TALE -it is a testimony STAY IN FAITH AS YOU GROW   Rom 4:17- (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb:20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.   Gen 12:1-NIV  The Lord had said to Abram, "Leave your country, your people and your father's household and go to the land I will show you. 2 "I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you." 4 So Abram left, as the Lord had told him…   Ps 18:34-KJV  He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.35 Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.36 Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.37 I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed.38 I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet.39 For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.   Rom 12:3….God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. Rom 10:117 NIV Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.   Mark 5:24-KJV  And Jesus went with him; and much people followed him, and thronged him.25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, 27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. 29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?31 And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? 32 And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing. 33 But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.

5/4/25 – Faith That Changes Things: Whosoever – Susan Allen
FAITH that CHANGES things   WHOSOEVER 5/4/25 Picnic Sunday, susan allen  age doesn’t matter when it comes to faith FAITH IS A FORCE! :WHOSOEVER: Rom 10:11 kjv For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.---------saved -sozo: kept safe, protected, delivered, made well PRAY WITH YOUR KIDS not just for YOUR KIDS (prayers that avail much for kids- Germaine Copeland) YOUR child is a WHOSOEVER and their faith is not SMALL   Mark 11:22-kjv And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. 23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.     --- it’s ok to learn and develop your faith WITH your CHILDREN Luke 18:15-TLB  One day some mothers brought their babies to him to touch and bless. But the disciples told them to go away. 16-17 Then Jesus called the children over to him and said to the disciples, "Let the little children come to me! Never send them away! For the Kingdom of God belongs to men who have hearts as trusting as these little children's. And anyone who doesn't have their kind of faith will never get within the Kingdom's gates."   TEACH them to go to GOD with any issues fire safety: STOP----DROP----ROLL STOP----PRAY-----SAY
    1. stop (be still and know I am God- Psalm 46:10)
    2. pray (talk to GOD about it)
    3. SAY (say what God says about it)
HEALING---1 Peter 2:24 by whose stripes ye were healed. PEACE--John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. NEEDS: Phil 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. PEACEFUL SLEEP: Prov 3:24 When you lie down, you will not be afraid; Yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet. INSECURITY: 2 Tim 1:7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline. STOP-PRAY-SAY I know you created me for a purpose and if I listen to you-you will help me be the person that I need to be. Jer 29:11- For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.   You have given me the power to resist and turn down all things that are not good for my future. James 4:7- So give yourselves humbly to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. And when you draw close to God, God will draw close to you.   You have provided me with everything I need in my life. 2 Peter 1:2-3 For as you know him better, he will give you, through his great power, everything you need for living a truly good life:   I choose to think on right things and control my thoughts and desires.Phil 4:8-9 Fix your thoughts on what is true and honorable and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. 9 Keep putting into practice all you learned from me and heard from me and saw me doing, and the God of peace will be with you.   You forgave me over 2000 years ago of anything I would ever do-you take away any shame or guilt because I honestly ask for forgiveness. 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.   If I change what I think about-it will change my actions and my results. Rom 12:2 Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will know what God wants you to do, and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect his will really is.   I have the peace of God no matter what is happening around me. Phil 4:6- Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don't forget to thank him for his answers. If you do this, you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus.   You show me what to do. Ps 119:105- Your words are a flashlight to light the path ahead of me and keep me from stumbling.   Your word teaches me responsibility for my words and actions.Prov 15:1 A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.   You want to hear from me and you want to help me. James 1:5 If you need wisdom, if you want to know what God wants you to do, ask him, and he will gladly tell you. He will not resent your asking.

With God-I can overcome anything. 1 John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith

You give me the strength to handle anything I face. Phil 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.     I am a good listener and I know what to say at the right time. Isa 50:4 The Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.   I have power above my natural ability. Power to love, to handle situations and keep my mind strong. I have no reason to be afraid. 2 Tim 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.   You understand me. You sculpted my body- like an amazing artist - I am your masterpiece. Ps 139:1-God, investigate my life; get all the facts firsthand. I'm an open book to you; even from a distance, you know what I'm thinking. You know when I leave and when I get back; I'm never out of your sight. You know everything I'm going to say before I start the first sentence. I look behind me and you're there, then up ahead and you're there, too -your reassuring presence, coming and going. This is too much, too wonderful, I can't take it all in! Is there anyplace I can go to avoid your Spirit? to be out of your sight?  If I climb to the sky, you're there! If I go underground, you're there! If I flew on morning's wings to the far western horizon, You'd find me in a minute, you're already there waiting! Then I said to myself, "Oh, he even sees me in the dark! At night I'm immersed in the light!" It's a fact: darkness isn't dark to you; night and day, darkness and light, they're all the same to you. Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out; you formed me in my mother's womb.  I thank you, High God, you're breathtaking! Body and soul, I am marvelously made! I worship in adoration, what a creation!  You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something. Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, the days of my life all prepared before I'd even lived one day.

4/20/25 – The Empty Tomb – Susan Allen
The Empty Tomb 4/20/25 Susan Allen FAITH that CHANGES THINGS, STARTS RIGHT HERE…in THE EMPTY TOMB   Rom 10:9 kjv That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.   1 Cor 15:14-NKJV  And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty. Verse 18 And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins!   WHY is the resurrection so crucial? BECAUSE the EMPTY TOMB is where the POWER OF CHANGE is   Rom 8:33  KJV Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. THIS SHOULD CHANGE ME Gal 2:20-ESV  I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. 21 I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose.   2 Cor 5:14-NIV  For Christ's love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. 15 And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. 16 So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. CHP 6 As God's fellow workers we urge you not to receive God's grace in vain. 2 For he says,  "In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you."  I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation.   COMMUNION: In drinking the juice symbolizing the blood of Christ and taking the broken bread symbolizing HIS body broken for you YOU are REMEMBERING, so you do not forget HIS BENEFITS (PS 103) IN taking it, we are CHOOSING to LIVE FREE from our past FREE from the curse of GEN BORN AGAIN…we live differently     1 Cor 11:23- NIV For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, "This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me."  25 In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me."  26 For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes. 27 Therefore, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. 28 A man ought to examine himself before he eats of the bread and drinks of the cup.

4/13/25 – Faith That Changes Things Pt 2 – Susan Allen
Faith That Changes Things part 2 4/13/25 susan allen Rom 1:16-KJV  For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power  (dunamis- force, miraculous power) of God unto salvation (soteria- rescue, safety, deliverance, preservation) to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.  Live- dzah’o: NT:2198 Thayer’s: to enjoy real life, i. e. to have true life and worthy of the name — active, blessed, endless in the kingdom of God   We really have two options:
    1. Live by the flesh: according to the 5 physical senses/soul –which is constantly changing according how we feel, what we perceive, and the circumstances
    2. Live by Faith: according to what is stated by God- which never changes but forces change in the circumstances
2 Cor 5:7 NIV   We live by faith, not by sight. Wuest: Through Faith we are ordering our manner of life, not by something seen -WHAT IS ORDERING my LIFE?- Your mouth is a revealer of what is IN YOU   Matt 12:34-NIV For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks. 35 The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. Rom 10:8 KJV  … The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach There is a mouth to heart connection. YOU are changing your mind.(romans 12 renewing)   2 Cor 4:18 kjv  While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.   Rom 4:17-21-speaking of Abraham:  (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb:20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.   Gen 15:1-kjv After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.2 And Abram said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?3 And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir.4 And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.5 And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.
