-FIGHT RIGHT- 9/1/24 susan allen *Eph 6:10-KJV Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord [Amp-be empowered through your union with Him), and in the power (vigor) of his might. (Ability, strength, power) *11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against (preposition of direction- forward)  the wiles (schemes, trickery)  of the devil. (Oppose, resist, set against) *12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. *13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand (stand against, oppose resist) in the evil day (annoyances, hardship, harmful), and having done all (prepared to stand), to stand. *14 Stand STAND is a position of victory, stand against is a forward direction, not backing down, it is an upright active position   * therefore, having your loins (procreative power) girt (fastened on) about with truth, 1 Peter 1:13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.   *and having on the breastplate of righteousness; (justification) Rom 10:2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. Rom 5:17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.   * 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Niv- fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.     *16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.   1 John 5:4- AMP For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith. 5 Who is it that is victorious over [that conquers] the world but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on that fact]?     *17 And take the helmet of salvation, 1 Thess 5:5- Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. 6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. 7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. 8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. 9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath,  but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,  10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. 11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.   *and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Rev 1:16 kjv  And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.   *18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;   1 Peter 5:8-kjv  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. AMP- Withstand him; be firm in faith against his onset — rooted, established, strong, immovable, and determined   1 Tim 6:11-KJV 11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. 12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, where unto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
