FAITH and the IMAGINATION part 2 11/10/24 susan allen Heb 11:1 AMP- NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]. Gen 11:1-kjv And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.3 And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter.4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.5 And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.6 And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech. Mark 4:23-amp  If any man has ears to hear, let him be listening and let him perceive and comprehend. 24 And He said to them, Be careful what you are hearing. The measure [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you — and more [besides] will be given to you who hear. NT:991 blepo (blep'-o); a primary verb; to look at (literally or figuratively): * LOOK at what YOU HEAR* Mark 4:23-amp  If any man has ears to hear, let him be listening and let him perceive and comprehend. 24 And He said to them, Be careful what you are hearing. SEEING what WE HEAR. Blueprinting it out and Framing it with God’s Word.   2 Cor 10:3 kjv For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) (fortresses, prisons)5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ --(building UP imaginations that exalt the knowledge of God) -----(LEADING every thought TO the obedience of Christ) ENGAGE your imagination! Rom 12:1-kjv  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.           MEMORY is an imagination It can be a blessing or it can be curse on your course Rom 12:1 amp…..make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God  

ABIDING part 6 The Fruit is a BIG Deal 8/18/24 susan allen Today FOCUS ON the FRUIT in John 15 John 15:1-12 NKJV notes have been added in ( )  "I am the true vine, (if there is a true vine there are false vines) and My Father is the vinedresser. (Gardener, husbandman-God doesn’t mind the process, this is not an angry process) 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. (the purpose of pruning is more fruit)  3 (NOW-kjv) You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. (Eph 5:26 we are cleansed by the Word) 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. (REMAIN) As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. 5 "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.  6 If anyone does not abide in Me, (disconnects) he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. (read in the Passion Translation) 7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. (This is abiding FAITH)  8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. 9 "As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. 10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love. 11 "These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.  (Fruit of the Spirit Gal 5: love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance) ------PRAY: Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit REMOVE IT; and every branch that bears fruit in me,  PRUNE IT , that I may bear more fruit.-------   Gen 1:11-TLB   And he said, "Let the earth burst forth with every sort of grass and seed-bearing plant, and fruit trees with seeds inside the fruit, so that these seeds will produce the kinds of plants and fruits they came from." And so it was, and God was pleased. Gen 3:1-KJV  Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. --WITH THE FRUIT CAME THE SEEDS. SEED will produce after LIKE KIND. 1 Peter 1:22-ESV  Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart, 23 since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God   Gal 5:16-NIV  So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. 17 For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law. 19 The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.

1. Fruits encase seed-protecting it from unfavorable conditions
2. Fruits disperse seeds away from the parent plant

(seeds that the fruit produces spread the plants genetic material over a wider area)

3. Fruit supplies nutrients to developing seeds giving energy for germination-growth
4. Fruit stores energy that help the plant itself grow and develop
