The Beatitudes- Blessed are they that are Persecuted

Matt 5:1-KJV And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,
3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
we just hit a new level of maturity
Blessed: Supremely blessed, happy
are they
which are persecuted: pursued for hostile purposes, harassed, troubled
FOR: on account of
righteousness’ sake: being upright, walking in integrity, virtuous, purity of life, correctness in thinking and acting, conformity to the Divine will in purpose thought word and action
John 3:16-KJV For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
Blessed are they that are persecuted for righteousness’ sake
FOR THEIRS is the Kingdom of Heaven
—-NEVER FORGET THERE IS A WHOLE OTHER REALM
the kingdoms and rewards of this earth are temporary
but the KINGDOM of HEAVEN is ETERNAL
verse 11
BLESSED: supremely blessed, happy
are you when men shall
REVILE you: taunt, defame, express disapproval
PERSECUTE YOU: pursue for hostile purposes
and SHALL SAY all manner of EVIL against you falsely for my sake

but here it shows the negative use of a pointed word -a hurtful RHEMA
Thayer’s: to assail one with abuse
Blessed are you when men shall revile, taunt defame and express disapproval and persecute you, pursue you for hostile purposes and shall say all manner of evil against you assailing you with abuse using pointed words
FALSELY: lying, deceptively
for my sake: it’s not really about you, they are fighting the light
verse 12
REJOICE-RE-JOY, be cheerful, calmly happy
and be
exceeding glad: jump for joy
in light of your testimony for GOD
FOR: because
GREAT is your reward in heaven
great: much, many great, significant
reward in heaven: recompense
for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest
You are blessed because yours is the Kingdom of Heaven
You are blessed because you are comforted
You are blessed because you are being filled
You are blessed because you have obtained and will obtain mercy
You are blessed because you shall see God
You are blessed because you are called the children of God
You are blessed because yours is the Kingdom of Heaven
REJOICE and be EXEEDING GLAD for GREAT IS YOUR REWARD in HEAVEN
