    Grow ANYWAY 3/17/24 susan allen   John 16:29-NKJV His disciples said to Him, "See, now You are speaking plainly, and using no figure of speech! 30 Now we are sure that You know all things, and have no need that anyone should question You. By this we believe that You came forth from God." 31 Jesus answered them, "Do you now believe?  32 Indeed the hour is coming, yes, has now come, that you will be scattered, each to his own, and will leave Me alone. And yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.  33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."   1 John 4:3 KJV  And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.  4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.(Overcome-prevailed, over power)   You are not from bad seed! 1 Peter 1:23 AMP  You have been regenerated (born again), not from a mortal origin (seed, sperm), but from one that is immortal by the ever living and lasting Word of God. Absorb: taking something in, esp gradually. Fully taking one’s attention. Engrossing yourself IN something. To take something in.   Ps 1:1-AMP  BLESSED (HAPPY, fortunate, prosperous, and enviable) is the man who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly [following their advice, their plans and purposes], nor stands [submissive and inactive] in the path where sinners walk,nor sits down [to relax and rest] where the scornful [and the mockers] gather. 2 But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night.  3 And he shall be like a tree firmly planted  (transplanted) [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity]. (push forward, break out) 4 Not so the wicked [those disobedient and living without God are not so]. But they are like the chaff [worthless, dead, without substance] which the wind drives away.   Deut 30:19   Jer 17:7-NIV  "But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. 8 He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit."   Rom 8:11 KJV But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken (cause to live, arouse, invigorate, re-animate, restore to life, cause to spring up an grow) your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

    GROWING in STRENGTH 3/10/24 susan allen   RESILIENCE- the ability to withstand or recover quickly from difficult situations, toughness   Mark 4:14 kjv  The sower soweth the word. 15 And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.16 And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction (trouble/pressure) or persecution (persistent annoyance)  ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.   QUICK to receive but also QUICK to QUIT. we default back to our own capabilities of handling things We need to PRACTICE being dependent on GOD   Eph 1:17-AMP  [For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him, 18 By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones), 19 And [so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness  (beyond the usual mark) of His power (Dunamis-miraculous power)  in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength, 20 Which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His [own] right hand in the heavenly [places]   2 Cor 12:7 KJV And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. 8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.9 And he said unto me, My grace (charis-influence, benefit, favor)  is sufficient for thee: for my strength (dunamis-miraculous power, ability) is made perfect (accomplished) in weakness. (feebleness of body/mind) Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power (dunamis)  of Christ may rest (abide, tent upon) upon me.10 Therefore I take pleasure (to think well of) in infirmities, in reproaches (insult, injury) , in necessities (needs), in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.(powerful, capable)   Eph 3:12 NIVIn him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence. 13 I ask you, therefore, not to be discouraged because of my sufferings for you, which are your glory. 14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen (empower) you with power (dunamis) through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge — that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. 20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power (dunamis) that is at work (is active) within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever!     GROWING In Faith 2/25/24 susan allen   Rom 1:17, Gal 3:11 and Heb 10:38 THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH Faith-(pistis) assurance, firm persuasion, reliance, belief, trust, confidence, constancy in profession  “Triangle of the end” by Charles Capps “As you approach the triangle of the end, time shall grow faster and closer, faster and closer” “There was a time when you could be off from the center line at the top of the triangle and still be inside the triangle of light. But, as you approach the triangle of the end, you must move to the center line” “I could see that those who were to one side of the center line, at the bottom end of the triangle would be outside the triangle of light” “Both the time allotted, and prophetic events are being compressed to maximum density to fulfill the prophetic scriptures of the ages. Time is reacting much the same as liquid flowing through a funnel, being drawn into the narrow end”   FAITH is not a parachute that we pull a cord on when the plane is coming down…….The JUST LIVE BY IT. HOW DO WE GET IT?  HOW DO WE DEVELOP and GROW FAITH?   Rom 10:13-KJV  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. 14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Faith comes by hearing not seeing, And it comes by hearing not having heard. Present tense hearing. Present tense WORD=present tense faith HEARING requires an ABIDING RELATIONSHIP John 15 says “If you abide in me and my WORDS abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you”   Romans 10:17 in the susan allen version: So then faith, assurance, firm persuasion, reliance, belief, trust, confidence, Constancy in profession- Comes by hearing the living voice, and hearing the living voice by the Word of God Word of God- RHEMA Thayer’s: that which is or has been uttered by the living voice. Vines: what is uttered in speech or writing   Faith is sent from God to you through ONE conduit HIS LIVING VOICE To what degree do we want to LIVE (zoe life)?   You CAN understand the Bible--Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God (Prov 2:1-7, Prov 4:5, Ps 119:104, John 16:13, James 1;5, John 14:26, 1 Cor 2:13, Eph 1:17,18)

My Health Is PRESENT In HIS WORD – Susan Allen
My Health is PRESENT in HIS WORD 1/30/22 susan allen Prov 4:20 AMP 20 My son, attend (give your attention) to my words; consent and submit to my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from your sight; keep them in the center of your heart. 22 For they are life to those who find them, (attain, possess, keep present) healing and health (cure, medicine, remedy, profitable) to all their flesh. Ps 107:20 NIV He sent forth his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave. Isa 53:4 AMP Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy].  [Matt 8:17.] 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole. Ps 103:2 AMP 2 Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul, and forget not [one of] all His benefits —  3 Who forgives [every one of] all your iniquities, Who heals [each one of] all your diseases, 4 Who redeems your life from the pit and corruption, Who beautifies, dignifies, and crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercy; 5 Who satisfies your mouth [your necessity and desire at your personal age and situation] with good so that your youth, renewed, is like the eagle's [strong, overcoming, soaring]!  [Isa 40:31.] 1 Peter 2:24 kjv Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. *Smith Wigglesworth“The devil never lets go of the flesh until he is forced to” Mark 11:23,24, Luke 17:6  speak to your own body in faith Ask the elders of the church to anoint you with oil James 5:14-15 Have hands laid on you by a believer Mark 16:17 kjv17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Healing is very present…it exists in the realm of faith *Smith Wigglesworth: “I believe in compete healings. If the healing is not manifested, it is there all the same. It is inactive because of inactive faith, but it is there. God has given it. How do I know? They will lay hands on the sick and they will recover. Whose word is that? That is God’s Word. So I have faith today.” Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

    THE Source of Truth God and Israel 11/19/23 susan allen 2 Tim 3:7 NIV -… always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth. Verse 13: while evil men and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, 15 and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.   2 Tim 4:2-NIV Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage — with great patience and careful instruction. 3 For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. 5 But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry. If he had taken warning, he would have saved himself. 6 But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes the life of one of them, that man will be taken away because of his sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for his blood.' 7 "Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me.   Gen 12:1-NIV The Lord had said to Abram, "Leave your country, your people and your father's household and go to the land I will show you. 2 "I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you."   Boundaries and description of the land: EX 23, Numbers 34 Nation-GOY- suggest a political entity with a land of its own, a group of individuals who are considered as a unit with respect to origin, language, land, jurisprudence, and government. (from Vine's Expository Dictionary)   Rom 10:1-NIV   Brothers, my heart's desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved. 2 For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge.   3 Since they did not know the righteousness that comes from God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God's righteousness. verse:16- 16 But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our message?"  17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ. 18 But I ask: Did they not hear? Of course they did: "Their voice has gone out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world." 19 Again I ask: Did Israel not understand? First, Moses says, "I will make you envious by those who are not a nation; I will make you angry by a nation that has no understanding." 20 And Isaiah boldly says, "I was found by those who did not seek me; I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me." 21 But concerning Israel he says, "All day long I have held out my hands to a disobedient and obstinate people." Chapter 11 I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. 2 God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew. Don't you know what the Scripture says in the passage about Elijah — how he appealed to God against Israel: 3 "Lord, they have killed your prophets and torn down your altars; I am the only one left, and they are trying to kill me"?  4 And what was God's answer to him? "I have reserved for myself seven thousand who have not bowed the knee to Baal."  5 So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace. 6 And if by grace, then it is no longer by works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace. 7 What then? What Israel sought so earnestly it did not obtain, but the elect did. The others were hardened, 8 as it is written: "God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes so that they could not see and ears so that they could not hear, to this very day."  9 And David says: "May their table become a snare and a trap, a stumbling block and a retribution for them. 10 May their eyes be darkened so they cannot see, and their backs be bent forever." 11 Again I ask: Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious. 12 But if their transgression means riches for the world, and their loss means riches for the Gentiles, how much greater riches will their fullness bring! 13 I am talking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I make much of my ministry 14 in the hope that I may somehow arouse my own people to envy and save some of them. 15 For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? 16 If the part of the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, then the whole batch is holy; if the root is holy, so are the branches. 17 If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, 18 do not boast over those branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you. 19 You will say then, "Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in." 20 Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but be afraid. 21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either. 22 Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off. 23 And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. 24 After all, if you were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree! 25 I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in. 26 And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: "The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob. 27 And this is my covenant with them when I take away their sins." 28 As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies on your account; but as far as election is concerned, they are loved on account of the patriarchs, 29 for God's gifts and his call are irrevocable. 30 Just as you who were at one time disobedient to God have now received mercy as a result of their disobedience, 31 so they too have now become disobedient in order that they too may now receive mercy as a result of God's mercy to you.   Rom 15:23-NIV But now that there is no more place for me to work in these regions, and since I have been longing for many years to see you, 24 I plan to do so when I go to Spain. I hope to visit you while passing through and to have you assist me on my journey there, after I have enjoyed your company for a while. 25 Now, however, I am on my way to Jerusalem in the service of the saints there. 26 For Macedonia and Achaia were pleased to make a contribution for the poor among the saints in Jerusalem. 27 They were pleased to do it, and indeed they owe it to them. Commanded: commissioned, ordered, appointed, ordained   IS THIS SOMETHING GOD HAS PUT in my ASSIGNMENT FOLDER? BE STRONG- firm, secure, sustained, confident, resolute The command/assignment by God is, in itself, a strength to you Be of GOOD COURAGE- physically and mentally in courage, confirmed, established, assured, don’t be timid Be not AFRAID- don’t dread, don’t be harassed by fear Neither be DISMAYED- broken down by confusion and fear, shattered, sometimes carries an element of being ashamed FOR the Lord thy GOD is with you wherever you go       10 Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying, 11 Pass through the host, and command the people, saying, Prepare you (supplies) victuals; for within three days ye shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land, which the Lord your God giveth you to possess it. 12 And to the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to half the tribe of Manasseh, spake Joshua, saying, 13 Remember the word which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, saying, The Lord your God hath given you rest, and hath given you this land.   2 Cor 1:8 NLT  We think you ought to know, dear brothers and sisters, about the trouble we went through in the province of Asia. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.] (reach out to me, grab ahold of me—substitution is the danger)29 Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls.  [Jer 6:16.] 30 For My yoke is wholesome (useful, good — not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light and easy to be borne.     Partnering With God 10/29/23 susan allen Gen 1:26-AMP  God said, Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the [tame] beasts, and over all of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth.  [Ps 104:30; Heb 1:2; 11:3.] 27 So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them.  [Col 3:9,10; James 3:8,9.] 28 And God blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it [using all its vast resources in the service of God and man]; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and over every living creature that moves upon the earth.   Gen 2:15 AMP  And the Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to tend and guard and keep it. Ps 115:16 AMP The heavens are the Lord's heavens, but the earth has He given to the children of men. Heb 11:3 AMP  By faith we understand that the worlds [during the successive ages] were framed (fashioned, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose) by the word of God, so that what we see was not made out of things which are visible.  (Vine’s the ages have been prepared) WHAT is in GOD’s hands and what is in man’s hands? The simple is BOTH By God’s delegated authority to us, there are things we can speak to And by God’s delegated authority there are things we PRAY about in the name of JESUS   example JESUS (Son of God and Son of man) Mark 4:35-KJV And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side.36 And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.37 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.40 And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?41 And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?   In Chapter 5 we see Him commanding an unclean spirit to come out of a man.He has authority to do that (Luke 10 He gives us the power to do that) But then in Luke we see Jesus PRAY for Simon Peter…not command him   Luke 22:31-ESV  “Simon, Simon, behold, Satan demanded to have you, that he might sift you like wheat, 32 but I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned again, strengthen your brothers.”   Why did JESUS not just COMMAND PETER, like HE DID THE unclean spirit? The wind/waves? The authority in Genesis never gave us authority over mankind MANKIND was made in the image and likeness of GOD.   GOD doesn’t even cross that line THIS IS WHY SUBMISSION to AUTHORITY is REQUIRED (to place yourself under) WE have to understand this in praying for other people and Circumstances that involve other people. God cannot JUST CHANGE THEM God partners with us in prayer to give every opportunity for them to submit to His will   “As John Wesley once said, “God does nothing but in answer to prayer.”1* Prayer is therefore not an option for mankind but a necessity. If we don’t pray, heaven cannot interfere in earth’s affairs. It is imperative that we take responsibility for the earth and determine what happens here by our prayer lives.” ― Myles Monroe, Understanding The Purpose And Power Of Prayer

Part 3 & Review 1/21/24   Review week 1: KNOWLEDGE without APPLICATION is FOOLISH (James 1) R.Renner “Knowledge without application becomes boring and unfulfilling --every time” 1 Peter 2:1-, Heb 5:11-, 1 Cor 3:1-, Maturity: The ability to respond to the environment in an appropriate manner. This includes the ability to control emotions, act responsibly and consider the well-being of oneself and others. The ability to make well informed decisions. Review week 2 carnal or spiritual: Eph 4:10-, 1 Cor 3:1-3, Romans 8:6 Spiritual: non carnal, to live a life guided by the born again spirit. Regenerate (regrow-the ability to regrow new tissue to replace lost or injured tissue. To bring new, more vigorous life to something through something new. Reborn) Carnal: fleshly, un-regenerate, not changed, a life driven by the flesh Make two columns. One labeled Carnal, One labeled spiritual. God through these verses and put the “indicators” of carnal and spiritual into the correct column. Part 3 What am I “MIND”ing? 1/21/24 Eph 5:1 Be followers of God as dear children Eph 5:8-NIV For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) 10 and find out what pleases the Lord. 11 Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. 12 For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. 13 But everything exposed by the light becomes visible, 14 for it is light that makes everything visible. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.   Rom 8:1-KJV There is therefore now no condemnation (adverse sentence, verdict) to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh (live, occupy oneself with), but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned (judged against) sin in the flesh: 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh (as a companion or votary), but after the Spirit. 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind (have their minds set on) the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit (have their minds set on) the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity (in opposition, hostile) against God: for it is not subject (submitted, responsive)  to the law of God, neither indeed can be. (the carnal mind can’t be if you are minding/submitted to the flesh)8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. (be agreeable)9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead (powerless) because of sin; but the Spirit is life (zoe) because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken (vitalize, make alive) your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.   12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify (kill) the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.   Walking in the flesh you will see your weaknesses but walking in the spirit you will see His strength The flesh does not like correction or direction Prov 15:31-33 He who listens to a life-giving rebuke will be at home among the wise. 32 He who ignores discipline despises himself, but whoever heeds correction gains understanding. 33 The fear of the Lord teaches a man wisdom, and humility comes before honor. Prov 10:17 He who heeds discipline shows the way to life, but whoever ignores correction leads others astray. Prov 12:1 Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid. Prov 13:18 He who ignores discipline comes to poverty and shame, but whoever heeds correction is honored. Prov 15:12 A mocker resents correction; he will not consult the wise.   Do I know/understand what the WILL OF THE LORD is? then What am I “MINDING”?

To bring new and more vigorous life to something through something NEW. Reborn.   CARNAL: fleshly, unregenerate, not changed- a life driven by the flesh   Mankind was made to thrive in maturing. In the maturing in our CHRISTIANITY many retire at birth.     Where Do I Need To GROW UP? 1/7/24 susan allen   We can measure our spiritual maturity in different areas of our lives by our response   KNOWLEDGE without APPLICATION is FOOLISH (James 1) RRenner “Knowledge without application becomes boring and unfulfilling --every time The mature TAKE knowledge and PUT it to work in their lives… 1 Peter 2:1 NIV Therefore, (chpt 1 calls us to a life of holiness) rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. 2 Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, 3 now that you have tasted that the Lord is good. 4 As you come to him, the living Stone — rejected by men but chosen by God and precious to him— 5 you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. (see Romans 12:1-)   Heb 5:11-NIV We have much to say about this, but it is hard to explain because you are slow to learn. 12 In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God's word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! 13 Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. 14 But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil. 6:1 Therefore let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God, 2 instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. 3 And God permitting, we will do so.   What is the difference between Milk and solid food? WHAT IS THE BENEFIT of solid food over an all milk diet? There is a healthy transition from milk to meat   1 Cor 3:1 NIV Brothers, I could not address you as spiritual but as worldly — mere infants in Christ. 2 I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready. 3 You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarreling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere men? 4 For when one says, "I follow Paul," and another, "I follow Apollos," are you not mere men? AMP: 1 HOWEVER, BRETHREN, I could not talk to you as to spiritual [men], but as to nonspiritual [men of the flesh, in whom the carnal nature predominates], as to mere infants [in the new life] in Christ 2 I fed you with milk, not solid food, for you were not yet strong enough [to be ready for it]; but even yet you are not strong enough [to be ready for it], 3 For you are still [unspiritual, having the nature] of the flesh [under the control of ordinary impulses]. For as long as [there are] envying and jealousy and wrangling and factions among you, are you not unspiritual and of the flesh, behaving yourselves after a human standard and like mere (unchanged) men?   Titus 2 calls out the aged to be mature example setters, a pattern to live by and teachers of beautiful/good things   Maturity: Maturity can be defined as the ability to respond to the environment in an appropriate manner. SOUL: The dimension of man which deals with the mental realm It is the intellect, emotions, and your will. Parenting in Grace and Faith Happy Mother’s Day 5/14/23 YOU MIGHT HAVE MADE SOME MISTAKES RAISING YOUR KIDS JUST AS Eph 2:8 tells us that by HIS GRACE we are saved (delivered) through faith, WE PARENT by His Grace and are delivered through faith   We cannot afford to let our “parenting regrets” override HIS GRACE in our minds , or we WILL NOT be able to operate in FAITH concerning our children His grace is greater than our mistakes Accept His Grace and let HIM put His INFLUENCE INTO the situation Do not underestimate the power of GOD’S GRACE in your parenting STORY PRAY over your situation, YOUR CHILDREN….NOT IN FEAR, not our of regret BUT IN FAITH THE PRAYER of FAITH is the way we take our FEARS off of our children and place THEM in the hands of God            FEAR based parenting is not beneficial to our kids            REGRET based parenting is not beneficial to our kids FEAR is transferrable by WORDS, but so is FAITH Romans 10:17 Faith comes by hearing.   BEGIN to SEED the WORD. They hunger and thirst after righteousness. They seek you and find you. They love you with their whole heart, mind and soul. Anything that tries to come between you is removed from their lives. I have taught them of you and your ways and they will never depart from it. My children bring me joy and not sorrow. They rise up and call me blessed. I have lent them to you for your service- they have found their place in you. You have placed Godly friendships and relationships in their life-they desire none else. Your Holy Spirit resides on the inside of them, working constantly on their behalf-showing them things, warning them and leading them in the path of righteousness. Satan cannot in anyway have my children-they have been yours since the day of conception-they will never serve another. I have taught them of you therefore they have great peace. You have created in them a clean heart-set apart for your service. I will not fear. I will not be moved by what I see. I put my trust in you. I rest now in your Words to me concerning my children and I consider it done from this day forward-I will not pick up this care again-But I will praise you for what you are doing in their lives and what they are doing for you. The end result is what you have promised.

    HOMEGROWN 5/7/23 RCC FAMILY DAY  Deut 6:5 NKJV (page 211   see the green 6  then small numbers in the sentences find little number 5)  5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. 6 "And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently (intensely, pierce) to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. 8 You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 9 You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates. Sow the Word into your family by what they see,  what they hear, what is said, and all along the “way” in their actions and your actions in daily life. A good godly life does not come from outside things…the best is HOMEGROWN You ARE growing something at home and the fruit will show you if you need to sow differently. NEVER UNDERESTIMATE the POWER OF your HOME ENVIRONMENT THIS takes time and effort. MAKE time. The harvest is worth it. Eph 5:15,16 speaks of not being foolish but making the MOST of EVERY OPPORTUNITY because the days are evil/hurtful/fierce  (page 1399 look for the small numbers 15,16) IF we want a good life…there are seeds we should pick to sow Not literally in the grown, but in the choices that we make When we mess up and plant (do) the wrong thing we dig that seed up by asking for forgiveness and by forgiving each other A peaceful, good, and godly home doesn’t just happen…It’s homegrown. We need to start sowing for it today and giving it our time and attention.  Gal 6:7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. Men will be self-focused, self-centered, self-absorbed, self-consumed, and in love with themselves more than anyone else. As a result of this self-love, they will be driven to obtain more and more and more. These boasters are so committed to their own agenda that they are willing to exaggerate, overstate the facts, stretch the truth, embellish a story, and even lie if it will get them the position, advantage, or goal they desire. They are arrogant, haughty, impudent, snooty, and insolent. They disdain, mock, slander, and speak ill of anyone that stands in the way of their ideology and freely use foul language. In this climate, parents will no longer be able to persuade, control, lead, or exercise authority over their own children. And although people were once thankful and appreciative, they will generally become void of gratitude and will be unappreciative of everything. Impurity will seep into society and cause it to become impure, ill-mannered, unclean, indecent, coarse, vulgar, offensive, crude, lewd, and rude.  Love for and commitment for family will disintegrate, and divorce will become epidemic, with irreconcilable differences being a major factor in tearing families apart. In fact, every imaginable type of covenant will be regularly violated, and the court system will be overwhelmed as people go overboard, suing and being sued. People will generally lose the ability to say no and will be unable to control their instincts in nearly every area of life. People will become savage, and it will eventually feel like there are no laws to protect the innocent.  People will find it easy to walk away from commitments and to easily throw away relationships. They will become reckless, impulsive, and known for their enjoyment of violence. They will become full of pride and inflated with a sense of their own self-importance—to the extent that it may end up feeling like society is being hit by a typhoon; however, those menacing winds of change will eventually blow out like a storm that comes and goes. Meanwhile, people will become fixated on the unobtainable pursuit of happiness and pleasure even more than they love God. Although they may possess an outward form of religiosity, they will rebuff, refute, refuse, and reject the authentic power that goes along with genuine godliness. I urgently tell you to mentally, spiritually, and physically turn away and remove yourselves from such people. These sorts of people project themselves as “help” with the intention of gaining access into people’s homes to manipulate them—especially targeting some sincere women who feel overwhelmed by frustrations and disappointing failures in life whom the manipulators find easier to influence because they have so many unmet longings. These women are endlessly doing their very best to gain insight needed to help them navigate life, but they are perpetually unable to come to right conclusions based on truth.
