    Learning How to Receive 11/27/22 susan allen   God is by nature a GIVER/provider   Gen 2:8 KJV And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.   4 river heads - INCREASE BURSTING FORTH RAPID FRUITFULNESS   Gen 2:15 KJV And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. (Take care of it, cultivate it, hedge it about, protect, be a watchman over it)   The “fall” mentality keeps us striving, laboring, & working to receive YOUR SALVATION IS COMPLETE-there is nothing lacking. IT IS all in the relationship   Religion will make you strive for it but Jesus will cause you to receive it God is not on the throne deciding what He is going to let you have   2 Cor 1:18 NIV  But as surely as God is faithful, our message to you is not "Yes" and "No." For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by me and Silas and Timothy, was not "Yes" and "No," but in him it has always been "Yes." 20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God. 21 Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, 22 set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.     God’s Word is written in LAYERS Here you are reading about a guy killing a giant with a sling shot in 1 Sam 17…….then as you The event or record of the person’s life in the O.T. truly happened HOWEVER, God in His brilliance recorded portions of people’s lives for PORTIONS of their life to paint a picture of the ONE TO COME Gen 3 God made a promise that ONE WAS COMING & from that moment forward the Word is painting JESUS Not everything about the type shows you Christ because God is using sinful man. In types/shadows let it point you to Christ. What doesn’t “fit” leave alone. My Health is PRESENT in HIS WORD 1/30/22 susan allen Prov 4:20 AMP 20 My son, attend (give your attention) to my words; consent and submit to my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from your sight; keep them in the center of your heart. 22 For they are life to those who find them, (attain, possess, keep present) healing and health (cure, medicine, remedy, profitable) to all their flesh. Ps 107:20 NIV He sent forth his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave. Isa 53:4 AMP Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy].  [Matt 8:17.] 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole. Ps 103:2 AMP 2 Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul, and forget not [one of] all His benefits —  3 Who forgives [every one of] all your iniquities, Who heals [each one of] all your diseases, 4 Who redeems your life from the pit and corruption, Who beautifies, dignifies, and crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercy; 5 Who satisfies your mouth [your necessity and desire at your personal age and situation] with good so that your youth, renewed, is like the eagle's [strong, overcoming, soaring]!  [Isa 40:31.] 1 Peter 2:24 kjv Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. *Smith Wigglesworth“The devil never lets go of the flesh until he is forced to” Mark 11:23,24, Luke 17:6  speak to your own body in faith Ask the elders of the church to anoint you with oil James 5:14-15 Have hands laid on you by a believer Mark 16:17 kjv17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Healing is very present…it exists in the realm of faith *Smith Wigglesworth: “I believe in compete healings. If the healing is not manifested, it is there all the same. It is inactive because of inactive faith, but it is there. God has given it. How do I know? They will lay hands on the sick and they will recover. Whose word is that? That is God’s Word. So I have faith today.” Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

    Does your mouth have a heart problem? 9/4/22 susan allen 2 Tim 3:16-niv  All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. *Our mouth is the magnifier of our heart. The revealer of the content of our heart. James 1:26 NIV If anyone considers himself religious and yet does not keep a tight rein on his tongue (hold it in check, guide it, lead it, restrain it), he deceives himself and his religion is worthless. (barren)   Ps 32:9 NIV Do not be like the horse or the mule, which have no understanding but must be controlled by bit and bridle or they will not come to you.   Matt 12:33 NIV "Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit. 34 You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks. 35 The good man brings good things out (draws,flings, thrust) of the good stored up in him (deposit), and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. *WE MUST DEAL with what WE HAVE KEPT in our HEARTS *We can speak and regret, but we will never PREVENT wrong words until we repent in our hearts Matt 15:16 NKJV So Jesus said, "Are you also still without understanding?  17 Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated?  18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man (pollute, make common).  19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.  20 These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man."   How do I change my heart?   Eph 4:29 AMP  Let no foul or polluting language, nor evil word nor unwholesome or worthless talk [ever] come out of your mouth, but only such [speech] as is good and beneficial to the spiritual progress of others, as is fitting to the need and the occasion, that it may be a blessing and give grace (God's favor) to those who hear it.     REFOCUS 8/21/22 susan allen   Rom 4:17- KJV 17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.18 Who against hope believed in hope (confident expectation), that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb:20 He staggered not (wavered not, opposed not) at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith (strengthened in his faith, empowered), giving glory to God;21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.   HE WAS STRONG in faith because -AGAINST HOPE, HE CONTINUED TO BELIEVE IN HOPE- that he might BECOME who God said HE WAS BUT: Used to introduce a phrase or clause contrasting with what has already been mentioned. John Wesley “The devil has given to the church a substitute for faith that looks and sounds so much like faith that people can’t tell the difference.” What do you do when you realize you are weak in an area? Heb 12:2 KJV 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. NIV 1.Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. 2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. AMP 2 Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God.  [Ps 110:1.] 3 Just think of Him Who endured from sinners such grievous opposition and bitter hostility against Himself [reckon up and consider it all in comparison with your trials], so that you may not grow weary or exhausted, losing heart and relaxing and fainting in your minds.   What has my attention? REFOCUS on the author and the PERFECTER of your faith. CONSIDER HIM. LOOK TO HIM.   Num 21:7 kjv  Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people. 8 And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. 9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.

Wisdom, Faith & Finances part 4 8/14/22 susan allen   Prov 13:22 AMP A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children, and the wealth of the sinner [finds its way eventually] into the hands of the righteous, for whom it was laid up. (in reserve, stored up)   Ps 145:14 AMP The Lord upholds all those [of His own] who are falling and raises up all those who are bowed down. 15 The eyes of all wait for You [looking, watching, and expecting] and You give them their food in due season. 16 You open Your hand and satisfy every living thing with favor. 17 The Lord is [rigidly] righteous in all His ways and gracious and merciful in all His works. 18 The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him sincerely and in truth. 19 He will fulfill the desires of those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him; He also will hear their cry and will save them.   Ps 1 AMP    BLESSED (HAPPY, fortunate, prosperous, and enviable) is the man who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly [following their advice, their plans and purposes], nor stands [submissive and inactive] in the path where sinners walk, nor sits down [to relax and rest] where the scornful [and the mockers] gather. 2 But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night. 3 And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity].  4 Not so the wicked [those disobedient and living without God are not so]. But they are like the chaff [worthless, dead, without substance] which the wind drives away. 5 Therefore the wicked [those disobedient and living without God] shall not stand [justified] in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous [those who are upright and in right standing with God]. 6 For the Lord knows and is fully acquainted with the way of the righteous, but the way of the ungodly [those living outside God's will] shall perish (end in ruin and come to nought).   Isa 12:2 AMP  Behold, God, my salvation! I will trust and not be afraid, for the Lord God is my strength and song; yes, He has become my salvation. 3 Therefore with joy will you draw water from the wells of salvation. Prov 2:1-NIV  My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, 2 turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding, 3 and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, 4 and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, 5 then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.  6 For the Lord gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. 7 He holds victory in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, 8 for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones. 9 Then you will understand what is right and just and fair — every good path. 10 For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul. 11 Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you.   Prov 20:5 NIV The purposes (plans, advisement, counsel) of a man's heart are deep waters, but a man of understanding draws them out.                                 ^skillful wisdom, inclining your mind to understanding   John 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

SOUL: The dimension of man which deals with the mental realm It is the intellect, emotions, and your will. It is the part that reasons and thinks and chooses.  BODY: The dimension of man which deals with the physical realm and the senses, instincts and urges.   Rom 12:1-kjv  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.     Works of the Flesh (the hard route), the nature of man without the influence of God Hatred: hostility, animosity, can’t get along Variance: mean spirited, so consumed with its own self-interests and ambitions that it would rather split and divide than to give an inch Emulations: moved with envy, resentful, jealous Wrath: boiling with anger, unresolved issues, underlying anger Strife: self-seeking ambition, self-focused ambition bound to hurt and offend people Seditions: stand apart, rebel and step away from someone to whom you should be loyal, disloyalty, defiant Heresies: cliques, exclusiveness, division, faction, divisive unauthorized group, sect (those in the flesh will gravitate to those in flesh) Adultery: Traditionally it means “cheating” on your spouse. Fornication: Greek word Porneia. Sexual activity outside of marriage (Pornos or Porneia= Mental prostitution) Uncleanness: lewd unclean thinking or actions Lasciviousness: undisciplined, unbridled, wild, excessive Idolatry: extreme devotion and service to something one worships other than God Witchcraft: medication, mind altering (pharmakeia) Envying: ill will, spite, desires to deprive another of what is his Murders: slaughter, slay Drunkenness: intoxication Reveling: rioting, carousing, looking for trouble

BUILD (banah- baw naw’): to make, to establish, rebuild something that is destroyed LABOR in vain: work severely and with irksomeness (causing annoyance, weariness frustration) EACH and EVERY LABORER NEEDS to have an UNDERSTANDING of THEIR PART of the VISION for this HOME LOOK TO GOD for plan, materials and co-operation 2 Peter 1:2-niv  Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. 3 His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. 5 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; 6 and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; 7 and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. 8 For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. EPH 5:21 TPT And out of your reverence for Christ be supportive of each other in love. 22For wives, this means being devoted  to your husbands like you are tenderly devoted to our Lord, 23for the husband provides leadership for the wife, just as Christ provides leadership for his church, as the Savior and Reviver  of the body. 24In the same way the church is devoted to Christ, let the wives be devoted to their husbands in everything.25And to the husbands, you are to demonstrate love for your wives with the same tender devotion that Christ demonstrated to us, his bride.  For he died for us, sacrificing himself 26to make us holy and pure, cleansing us through the showering of the pure water of the Word of God. 27All that he does in us is designed to make us a mature church for his pleasure, until we become a source of praise to him—glorious and radiant,  beautiful and holy, without fault or flaw. 28Husbands have the obligation of loving and caring for their wives the same way they love and care for their own bodies, for to love your wife is to love your own self. 29No one abuses his own body, but pampers it—serving and satisfying its needs. That’s exactly what Christ does for his church! 30He serves and satisfies us  as members of his body.31For this reason a man is to leave his father and his mother and lovingly hold to his wife, since the two have become joined as one flesh.  32Marriage is the beautiful design of the Almighty,  a great mystery  of Christ and his church. 33So every married man should be gracious to his wife just as he is gracious to himself. And every wife should be tenderly devoted to her husband.6:1 Children, if you want to be wise, listen to your parents and do what they tell you, and the Lord  will help you.2For the commandment, “Honor your father and your mother,” was the first of the Ten Commandments with a promise attached: 3“You will prosper  and live a long, full life if you honor your parents.”4Fathers, don’t exasperate your children,  but raise them up with loving discipline and counsel that brings the revelation of our Lord.   Prov 14:1 amp EVERY WISE woman builds her house, but the foolish one tears it down with her own hands. 1 Peter 3:7 kjv Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered. ROMANS 8:29 we are to be molded into the image of Christ   I urgently tell you to mentally, spiritually, and physically turn away and remove yourselves from such people. These sorts of people project themselves as “help” with the intention of gaining access into people’s homes to manipulate them HOME IS THE TARGET. The culprit will come under the guise of “HELP” WHO/WHAT has access to my home?   —especially targeting some sincere women who feel overwhelmed by frustrations and disappointing failures in life whom the manipulators find easier to influence because they have so many unmet longings. These women are endlessly doing their very best to gain insight needed to help them navigate life, but they are perpetually unable to come to right conclusions based on truth. These boasters are so committed to their own agenda that they are willing to exaggerate, overstate the facts, stretch the truth, embellish a story, and even lie if it will get them the position, advantage, or goal they desire. BOASTERS- exaggerating for their own advancement DO I PROMOTE MYSELF? DO I PROMOTE MY KIDS? How do I seek advancement? 1 Peter 5:5 kjv Young men, in the same way be submissive to those who are older. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because,"God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble." 6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Don’t BOAST----LET GOD’S FAVOR do ITS WORK Boasting is manipulative distorted favor   They are arrogant, haughty, impudent, snooty, and insolent. Kjv PROUD- superior, have intellectual advantage Prov 6  one of the 7 things God hates   Do I feel the need to prove I am right? How far will I go to prove my point? When we tell our children we are proud of them, what are we PROUD OF? We can build confidence without building pride. Pride has a habit of comparison with other people and putting other down to raise ourselves up. 2 Cor 10:12-NIV We do not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some who commend themselves. When they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are not wise. 13 We, however, will not boast beyond proper limits, but will confine our boasting to the field God has assigned to us, a field that reaches even to you. What am I doing this for? Col 3:23 tell us whatever we do, do it with all of your heart and do it for the LORD
