    Wisdom, Faith & Finances 7/10/22 susan allen Mark 4:14-KJV The sower soweth the word.15 And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.16 And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.18 And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.20 And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred. The cares- anxious thoughts, worries, distractions, to be drawn away in different directions, DECEITFULNESS of riches: delusions of wealth, false impression (Money will fix it) (I need more) LUSTS of other things: desires, cravings longings, CJB- desires PUSH in (Begin to take up the space of productivity) Underhill family quote “It’s not what you make but what you do with what you make” Ps 112 ESV Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in his commandments!2 His offspring will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed.3 Wealth and riches are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever.4 Light dawns in the darkness for the upright; he is gracious, merciful, and righteous.5 It is well with the man who deals generously and lends; who conducts his affairs with justice.6 For the righteous will never be moved; he will be remembered forever.7 He is not afraid of bad news; his heart is firm, trusting in the Lord. Rom 12:2 NIV Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is — his good, pleasing and perfect will. 1 Tim 6:10 NIV For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.   Josh 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. God’s Prosperity Ps 5:11-12 But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.12 For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. Prov 22:4 By humility and the fear of the LORD are riches, and honour, and life Prov 24:4 And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. Mal 3:10-11 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts. Deut 8:18 But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day. Eccl 5:19 Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God. Deut 28:1-13 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.3 Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.4 Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.5 Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store.6 Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.7 The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.8 The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.9 The LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways.10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of thee.11 And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee.12 The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.13 And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them: Eph 4:28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. Isa 1:19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land   Gal 3:13-14 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Phil 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. 2 Cor 9:6-11 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:9(As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)11 Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God. Ps 112:1-9 Praise ye the LORD. Ps 1:1-3 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. Ps 37:23-26 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.26 He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed. Ps 68:19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah. Prov 28:10 but the upright shall have good things in possession. Ps 122:6-7 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.7 Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces. 3 John 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. Prov 11:25 The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself. Prov 13:4 The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.   Prov 28:25-27 He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust in the LORD shall be made fat.26 He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.27 He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse Ps 34:10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing. Ps 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. 2 Chron 16:9 For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. 1 Peter 3:12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers Prov 28:20 A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent. Prov 28:19 He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread: Joel 2:26 And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.

My Health is PRESENT in HIS WORD 1/30/22 susan allen Prov 4:20 AMP 20 My son, attend (give your attention) to my words; consent and submit to my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from your sight; keep them in the center of your heart. 22 For they are life to those who find them, (attain, possess, keep present) healing and health (cure, medicine, remedy, profitable) to all their flesh. Ps 107:20 NIV He sent forth his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave. Isa 53:4 AMP Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy].  [Matt 8:17.] 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole. Ps 103:2 AMP 2 Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul, and forget not [one of] all His benefits —  3 Who forgives [every one of] all your iniquities, Who heals [each one of] all your diseases, 4 Who redeems your life from the pit and corruption, Who beautifies, dignifies, and crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercy; 5 Who satisfies your mouth [your necessity and desire at your personal age and situation] with good so that your youth, renewed, is like the eagle's [strong, overcoming, soaring]!  [Isa 40:31.] 1 Peter 2:24 kjv Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. *Smith Wigglesworth“The devil never lets go of the flesh until he is forced to” Mark 11:23,24, Luke 17:6  speak to your own body in faith Ask the elders of the church to anoint you with oil James 5:14-15 Have hands laid on you by a believer Mark 16:17 kjv17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Healing is very present…it exists in the realm of faith *Smith Wigglesworth: “I believe in compete healings. If the healing is not manifested, it is there all the same. It is inactive because of inactive faith, but it is there. God has given it. How do I know? They will lay hands on the sick and they will recover. Whose word is that? That is God’s Word. So I have faith today.” Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

-Dealing with Doubt – 5/29/22 susan allen Doubt cannot be ignored Just like hope is the prerequisite to faith Doubt is the prerequisite to fear and unbelief BOTH FEAR and FAITH are magnets. They are spiritual principles that WORK   Charles Capps “Where the “?” is your faith stops”   Rom 10:17 kjv So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. NIV 17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.   Mark 1:40-NIV  A man with leprosy came to him and begged him on his knees, "If you are willing, you can make me clean." 41 Filled with compassion, Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. "I am willing," he said. "Be clean!"  42 Immediately the leprosy left him and he was cured. When doubt knocks and faith answers…no one is there.   Mark 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. 23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. “What do you do if the thing you are speaking to persists? I persist” Gloria Copeland DOUBT QUESTIONS. FAITH SPEAKS. Doubt questions but FAITH makes a statement. It ends the thought with a period. There is no question.

    When a Decision MUST be Made 5/22/22 susan allen MUST it be made RIGHT NOW? WHERE your TREASURE is THERE WILL YOUR HEART BE ALSO (matt 6:21) Don’t give your attention where you don’t need to go There are many times we need to make our decisions before our emotions are too involved. Ps 119:133 Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. Rick Renner “Your life becomes a supernatural life when you obey God” James 1:5- AMP  If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of the giving God [Who gives] to everyone liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or faultfinding, and it will be given him. 6 Only it must be in faith that he asks with no wavering (no hesitating, no doubting). For the one who wavers (hesitates, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea that is blown hither and thither and tossed by the wind. 7 For truly, let not such a person imagine that he will receive anything [he asks for] from the Lord, 8 [For being as he is] a man of two minds (hesitating, dubious, irresolute), [he is] unstable and unreliable and uncertain about everything [he thinks, feels, decides]. When you don’t know what to do
    1. Search His word for any PRESET answers or wisdom in that area
    2. IF that isn’t plain enough ASK HIM WHAT TO DO and expect an answer
    Ps 37:23 kjv The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way :31 The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide. Ps 44:18 kjv Our heart is not turned back, neither have our steps declined from thy way  
    1. Seek wise counsel
    Prov 18:1 AMP HE WHO willfully separates and estranges himself [from God and man] seeks his own desire and pretext to break out against all wise and sound judgment.
    1. Get alone and pray (take a step away from it and any distractions)
    Rom 8:26 ESV Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. 27 And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. 28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.  
    1. Follow Peace (pay attention to UNREST)
    Col 3:15 AMP And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ's] one body you were also called [to live]. And be thankful (appreciative), [giving praise to God always]. ALWAYS FOLLOW PEACE (remember peace is not an emotion)   Col 1:9-13 esv …we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 10 so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. 11 May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, 12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.

    The Content of My Heart 5/15/22 susan allen Ex 7:13 And he hardened (to grow rigid) Pharaoh's heart, that he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said. :14 And the LORD said unto Moses, Pharaoh's heart is hardened (hard, difficult), he refuseth to let the people go. :22 and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, neither did he hearken unto them; as the LORD had said. Ex 8:15 he hardened his heart, & hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said. :19 Then the magicians said unto Pharaoh, This is the finger of God: and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said. :32 And Pharaoh hardened his heart at this time also, neither would he let the people go. SOUL: The dimension of man which deals with the mental realm It is the intellect, emotions, and your will. It is the part that reasons and thinks and chooses.  BODY: The dimension of man which deals with the physical realm and the senses, instincts and urges.   Rom 12:1-kjv  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.     Works of the Flesh (the hard route), the nature of man without the influence of God Hatred: hostility, animosity, can’t get along Variance: mean spirited, so consumed with its own self-interests and ambitions that it would rather split and divide than to give an inch Emulations: moved with envy, resentful, jealous Wrath: boiling with anger, unresolved issues, underlying anger Strife: self-seeking ambition, self-focused ambition bound to hurt and offend people Seditions: stand apart, rebel and step away from someone to whom you should be loyal, disloyalty, defiant Heresies: cliques, exclusiveness, division, faction, divisive unauthorized group, sect (those in the flesh will gravitate to those in flesh) Adultery: Traditionally it means “cheating” on your spouse. Fornication: Greek word Porneia. Sexual activity outside of marriage (Pornos or Porneia= Mental prostitution) Uncleanness: lewd unclean thinking or actions Lasciviousness: undisciplined, unbridled, wild, excessive Idolatry: extreme devotion and service to something one worships other than God Witchcraft: medication, mind altering (pharmakeia) Envying: ill will, spite, desires to deprive another of what is his Murders: slaughter, slay Drunkenness: intoxication Reveling: rioting, carousing, looking for trouble

BUILD (banah- baw naw’): to make, to establish, rebuild something that is destroyed LABOR in vain: work severely and with irksomeness (causing annoyance, weariness frustration) EACH and EVERY LABORER NEEDS to have an UNDERSTANDING of THEIR PART of the VISION for this HOME LOOK TO GOD for plan, materials and co-operation 2 Peter 1:2-niv  Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. 3 His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. 5 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; 6 and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; 7 and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. 8 For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. EPH 5:21 TPT And out of your reverence for Christ be supportive of each other in love. 22For wives, this means being devoted  to your husbands like you are tenderly devoted to our Lord, 23for the husband provides leadership for the wife, just as Christ provides leadership for his church, as the Savior and Reviver  of the body. 24In the same way the church is devoted to Christ, let the wives be devoted to their husbands in everything.25And to the husbands, you are to demonstrate love for your wives with the same tender devotion that Christ demonstrated to us, his bride.  For he died for us, sacrificing himself 26to make us holy and pure, cleansing us through the showering of the pure water of the Word of God. 27All that he does in us is designed to make us a mature church for his pleasure, until we become a source of praise to him—glorious and radiant,  beautiful and holy, without fault or flaw. 28Husbands have the obligation of loving and caring for their wives the same way they love and care for their own bodies, for to love your wife is to love your own self. 29No one abuses his own body, but pampers it—serving and satisfying its needs. That’s exactly what Christ does for his church! 30He serves and satisfies us  as members of his body.31For this reason a man is to leave his father and his mother and lovingly hold to his wife, since the two have become joined as one flesh.  32Marriage is the beautiful design of the Almighty,  a great mystery  of Christ and his church. 33So every married man should be gracious to his wife just as he is gracious to himself. And every wife should be tenderly devoted to her husband.6:1 Children, if you want to be wise, listen to your parents and do what they tell you, and the Lord  will help you.2For the commandment, “Honor your father and your mother,” was the first of the Ten Commandments with a promise attached: 3“You will prosper  and live a long, full life if you honor your parents.”4Fathers, don’t exasperate your children,  but raise them up with loving discipline and counsel that brings the revelation of our Lord.   Prov 14:1 amp EVERY WISE woman builds her house, but the foolish one tears it down with her own hands. 1 Peter 3:7 kjv Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered. Life in the Christian home is self-governed by the Word of God And our children need to see the vision so they understand any restraint.   People will become savage,

    We have to be very aware of what we have become comfortable with in our homes Col 3:12 niv Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13 Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. it will eventually feel like there are no laws to protect the innocent.

    Isa 5:20 niv Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. 21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight.     People will find it easy to walk away from commitments and to easily throw away relationships. Prov 18:24 says there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother If you have to part ways…depart correctly

    They will become reckless, impulsive, and known for their enjoyment of violence. Prov 19:2 It is not good to have zeal without knowledge, nor to be hasty and miss the way. A man’s own folly ruins his life, yet his heart rages against the Lord. Our decision processes are dependent on our knowledge Read proverbs! Learn to put our thoughts through the filter of Gods word BEFORE we take action Learn to deal with the pressure to respond quickly, to act quickly “Lets think about this” “Lets pray about this” What does the Word say?  
    1. High Minded – full of themselves, self-delusional, haughty, critical spirit
    They will become full of pride and inflated with a sense of their own self-importance— If we will keep ourselves in front of the mirror of God’s Word it will not let us live a lie. 1 Cor 15:10 niv  But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them — yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. 11 Whether, then, it was I or they, this is what we preach, and this is what you believed. Let’s watch out for a critical spirit in our homes…it’s a red flag of High mindedness   to the extent that it may end up feeling like society is being hit by a typhoon; however, those menacing winds of change will eventually blow out like a storm that comes and goes. Meanwhile, people will become fixated on the unobtainable pursuit of happiness and pleasure even more than they love God.
    1. Lovers of Pleasures more than lovers of God
    They love God…they just love pleasures more Matt 6   Although they may possess an outward form of religiosity, they will rebuff, refute, refuse, and reject the authentic power that goes along with genuine godliness.   They will have a flexible truth. Their own form of spirituality that is comfortable for them, but it has no power to change them bc they change IT to fit them instead of changing themselves to fit it. ROMANS 8:29 we are to be molded into the image of Christ   I urgently tell you to mentally, spiritually, and physically turn away and remove yourselves from such people. These sorts of people project themselves as “help” with the intention of gaining access into people’s homes to manipulate them HOME IS THE TARGET. The culprit will come under the guise of “HELP” WHO/WHAT has access to my home?   —especially targeting some sincere women who feel overwhelmed by frustrations and disappointing failures in life whom the manipulators find easier to influence because they have so many unmet longings. These women are endlessly doing their very best to gain insight needed to help them navigate life, but they are perpetually unable to come to right conclusions based on truth. KJV: they lead captive silly women laden with sins, led AWAY with divers lusts

      They disdain, mock, slander, and speak ill of anyone that stands in the way of their ideology and freely use foul language.

Phil 4:10-NIV I rejoice greatly in the Lord that at last you have renewed your concern for me. Indeed, you have been concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it. 11 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. 12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. 13 I can do everything through him who gives me strength. These boasters are so committed to their own agenda that they are willing to exaggerate, overstate the facts, stretch the truth, embellish a story, and even lie if it will get them the position, advantage, or goal they desire. BOASTERS- exaggerating for their own advancement DO I PROMOTE MYSELF? DO I PROMOTE MY KIDS? How do I seek advancement? 1 Peter 5:5 kjv Young men, in the same way be submissive to those who are older. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because,"God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble." 6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Don’t BOAST----LET GOD’S FAVOR do ITS WORK Boasting is manipulative distorted favor   They are arrogant, haughty, impudent, snooty, and insolent. Kjv PROUD- superior, have intellectual advantage Prov 6  one of the 7 things God hates   Do I feel the need to prove I am right? How far will I go to prove my point? When we tell our children we are proud of them, what are we PROUD OF? We can build confidence without building pride. Pride has a habit of comparison with other people and putting other down to raise ourselves up. 2 Cor 10:12-NIV We do not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some who commend themselves. When they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are not wise. 13 We, however, will not boast beyond proper limits, but will confine our boasting to the field God has assigned to us, a field that reaches even to you. What am I doing this for? Col 3:23 tell us whatever we do, do it with all of your heart and do it for the LORD

Then go down to the threshing floor, but don't let him know you are there until he has finished eating and drinking. 4 When he lies down, note the place where he is lying. (cut off from spiritual blessing) Life happens but the principles of God don’t change. Our marriage is not separate from our faith. Our marriage is not separate from our relationship with God.
