When A Decision Must Be Made – Susan Allen
When a Decision MUST be Made 5/22/22 susan allen MUST it be made RIGHT NOW? WHERE your TREASURE is THERE WILL YOUR HEART BE ALSO (matt 6:21) Don’t give your attention where you don’t need to go There are many times we need to make our decisions before our emotions are too involved. Ps 119:133 Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. Rick Renner “Your life becomes a supernatural life when you obey God” James 1:5- AMP  If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of the giving God [Who gives] to everyone liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or faultfinding, and it will be given him. 6 Only it must be in faith that he asks with no wavering (no hesitating, no doubting). For the one who wavers (hesitates, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea that is blown hither and thither and tossed by the wind. 7 For truly, let not such a person imagine that he will receive anything [he asks for] from the Lord, 8 [For being as he is] a man of two minds (hesitating, dubious, irresolute), [he is] unstable and unreliable and uncertain about everything [he thinks, feels, decides]. When you don’t know what to do
    1. Search His word for any PRESET answers or wisdom in that area
    2. IF that isn’t plain enough ASK HIM WHAT TO DO and expect an answer
Ps 37:23 kjv The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way :31 The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide. Ps 44:18 kjv Our heart is not turned back, neither have our steps declined from thy way
    1. Seek wise counsel
Prov 18:1 AMP HE WHO willfully separates and estranges himself [from God and man] seeks his own desire and pretext to break out against all wise and sound judgment.
    1. Get alone and pray (take a step away from it and any distractions)
Rom 8:26 ESV Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. 27 And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. 28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
    1. Follow Peace (pay attention to UNREST)
Col 3:15 AMP And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ's] one body you were also called [to live]. And be thankful (appreciative), [giving praise to God always]. ALWAYS FOLLOW PEACE (remember peace is not an emotion)   Col 1:9-13 esv …we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 10 so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. 11 May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, 12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.

The Content Of My Heart – Susan Allen
The Content of My Heart 5/15/22 susan allen Ex 7:13 And he hardened (to grow rigid) Pharaoh's heart, that he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said. :14 And the LORD said unto Moses, Pharaoh's heart is hardened (hard, difficult), he refuseth to let the people go. :22 and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, neither did he hearken unto them; as the LORD had said. Ex 8:15 he hardened his heart, & hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said. :19 Then the magicians said unto Pharaoh, This is the finger of God: and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said. :32 And Pharaoh hardened his heart at this time also, neither would he let the people go. Ex 9:7 And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, and he did not let the people go. :12 And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh, & he hearkened not unto them; :34 he sinned yet more, and hardened his heart :35 And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, neither would he let the children of Israel go; as the LORD had spoken by Moses.   Mark 3:5 And when He had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other. 6 And the Pharisees went forth, and straightway took counsel with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him. Grieved: sympathetic grief because of their self-injury For the hardness of their hearts: callousness of their hearts                                                  Process, perception dulled over time   Mark 6:52 For they considered not the miracle of the loaves: for their heart was hardened. Mark 8:17 kjv17 And when Jesus knew it, he saith unto them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? perceive ye not yet, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened?18 Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember?19 When I brake the five loaves among five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? They say unto him, Twelve.20 And when the seven among four thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? And they said, Seven.21 And he said unto them, How is it that ye do not understand? Ezek 11:19 NIV I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh. Adam Clarke: I will take away that which would not receive the impressions of my Spirit and will give them one that is capable of receiving and retaining these impressions Rom 2:4 niv Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, tolerance and patience, not realizing that God's kindness leads you toward repentance? 5 But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God's wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed. Prov 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Heb 3:7 AMP  Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: Today, if you will hear His voice, 8 Do not harden your hearts, as [happened] in the rebellion [of Israel] and their provocation and embitterment [of Me] in the day of testing in the wilderness, 9 Where your fathers tried [My patience] and tested [My forbearance] and found I stood their test, and they saw My works for forty years. 10 And so I was provoked (displeased and sorely grieved) with that generation, and said, They always err and are led astray in their hearts, and they have not perceived or recognized My ways and become progressively better and more experimentally and intimately acquainted with them. Ps 139

    Going Forward – Susan Allen
GOING FORWARD 5/1/22 Picnic Sunday You simply cannot go forward, staying in the past                          A path has been cleared for you to move forward Ex 12:11 NIV This is how you are to eat it: with your cloak tucked into your belt, your sandals on your feet and your staff in your hand. Eat it in haste; it is the Lord's Passover. Ex 13:17 niv When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them on the road through the Philistine country, though that was shorter. For God said, "If they face war, they might change their minds and return to Egypt Ex 14:13 kjv And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.14 The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.15 And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:16 But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea. Romans 6:6  We know that our old (unrenewed) self was nailed to the cross with Him in order that [our] body [which is the instrument] of sin might be made ineffective and inactive for evil, that we might no longer be the slaves of sin. 7 For when a man dies, he is freed (loosed, delivered) from [the power of] sin [among men]. 8 Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, 9 Because we know that Christ (the Anointed One), being once raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has power over Him. 10 For by the death He died, He died to sin [ending His relation to it] once for all; and the life that He lives, He is living to God [in unbroken fellowship with Him]. 11 Even so consider yourselves also dead to sin and your relation to it broken, but alive to God [living in unbroken fellowship with Him] in Christ Jesus. 12 Let not sin therefore rule as king in your mortal (short-lived, perishable) bodies, to make you yield to its cravings and be subject to its lusts and evil passions. 13 Do not continue offering or yielding your bodily members [and faculties] to sin as instruments (tools) of wickedness. But offer and yield yourselves to God as though you have been raised from the dead to [perpetual] life, and your bodily members [and faculties] to God, presenting them as implements of righteousness. 14 For sin shall not [any longer] exert dominion over you, since now you are not under Law [as slaves], but under grace [as subjects of God's favor and mercy]. 15 What then [are we to conclude]? Shall we sin because we live not under Law but under God's favor and mercy? Certainly not! 16 Do you not know that if you continually surrender yourselves to anyone to do his will, you are the slaves of him whom you obey, whether that be to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience which leads to righteousness (right doing and right standing with God)? 17 But thank God, though you were once slaves of sin, you have become obedient with all your heart to the standard of teaching in which you were instructed and to which you were committed.
