Home in Christ part 4 Home Protection Plan 9/19/21 susan allen Heb 11:7 ESV By faith Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, in reverent fear constructed an ark for the saving of his household. 2 Tim 3 RIV You emphatically and categorically need to know with unquestionable certainty that in the very end of days—when time has sailed to its last port and no more time remains for the journey—that last season will stand in the midst of uncontrollable, unpredictable, hurtful, treacherous, menacing times that will be emotionally difficult for people to bear. We covered these four last week:
  1. Lovers of their own selves
  2. Covetous
  3. Boasters
  4. Proud
  They disdain, mock, slander, and speak ill of anyone that stands in the way of their ideology and freely use foul language.
  1. Kjv blasphemers – speaking to harm, insulting,
The twisted use of words as weapons –this is the opposite of blessing Rom 12:14 kjv Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not   Ps 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. James 3:9 NIV With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in God's likeness.   10 Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers, this should not be. *we need to let HIS Word set the boundaries/the limits of our words* In this climate, parents will no longer be able to persuade, control, lead, or exercise authority over their own children.
  1. Kjv Disobedient to parents
OUR HOME sets the tone of how OUR kids will respond to authority even the authority of God Himself Eph 6:1 AMP CHILDREN, OBEY your parents in the Lord [as His representatives], for this is just and right. 2 Honor (esteem and value as precious) your father and your mother — this is the first commandment with a promise —  [Ex 20:12.] 3 That all may be well with you and that you may live long on the earth. Prov 23:13-14 kjv Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.14 Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell.   And although people were once thankful and appreciative, they will generally become void of gratitude and will be unappreciative of everything Child-centered homes create an ENTITLED SOCIETY

What I am complaining about…is it something I want GONE? Ps 105:1 NIV Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done. 2 Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. 3 Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.   Impurity will seep into society and cause it to become impure, ill-mannered, unclean, indecent, coarse, vulgar, offensive, crude, lewd, and rude. 
  1. Kjv- UNHOLY –nothing sacred, no reverence, nothing is off limits
1 Peter 1:15 niv But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; 16 for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy." Prov 9:10 NIV "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Love for and commitment for family will disintegrate, and divorce will become epidemic, with irreconcilable differences being a major factor in tearing families apart.

No love of family as God designed it Calloused, twisted sense of love, selfish unnatural affection lacking devotion to family GOD DEFINED love and anything outside of HIM will develop into an unnatural affection Rom 1:21-niv  For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator — who is forever praised. Amen. 26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion. 28 Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. ARE our affections natural to God?   In fact, every imaginable type of covenant will be regularly violated, and the court system will be overwhelmed as people go overboard, suing and being sued.

Trucebreaker- Without obligation, their word means NOTHING Matt 5:37 niv  Simply let your 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and your 'No,' 'No'; anything beyond this comes from the evil one. Does our word mean anything in our homes? False accusers: People will not be afraid to falsely accuse, excite quarrels Prov 12:17 amp  He who breathes out truth shows forth righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God), but a false witness utters deceit. 18 There are those who speak rashly, like the piercing of a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing. DO I KNOW THIS IS TRUE? and if it is proven to be true…am I speaking the truth IN LOVE (eph 4:15)

    HOME in CHRIST part 3 Home Protection Plan 9/12/21 susan allen  Heb 11:7 AMP [Prompted] by faith Noah, being forewarned by God concerning events of which as yet there was no visible sign, took heed and diligently and reverently constructed and prepared an ark for the deliverance of his own family. By this [his faith which relied on God] he passed judgment and sentence on the world's unbelief and became an heir and possessor of righteousness (that relation of being right into which God puts the person who has faith).  [Gen 6:13-22.]   THERE IS NOT A SEASON IN LIFE that GOD has not MADE a PLAN of PROVISION for. When God gives warning IT IS FOR PREPARATION not for fear.     1. Men will be self-focused, self-centered, self-absorbed, self-consumed, and in love with themselves more than anyone else.
    IF I SEE GOD as the “I AM” then I realize “I AM NOT” Prov 3:6-7 AMP  In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths. 7 Be not wise in your own eyes; reverently fear and worship the Lord and turn [entirely] away from evil. Deut 6:4- KJV  Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.8 And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.9 And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.10 And it shall be, when the LORD thy God shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not, 11 And houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full;12 Then beware lest thou forget the LORD, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.   Where have I crossed the line into self-centeredness? Marriage, career, kids, self-centered religion/church?   As a result of this self-love, they will be driven to obtain more and more and more. Kjv COVETOUS- love of money, never satisfied, consumed with their own comforts DO we know how to be satisfied? Do our kids? Phil 4:10-NIV I rejoice greatly in the Lord that at last you have renewed your concern for me. Indeed, you have been concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it. 11 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. 12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. 13 I can do everything through him who gives me strength. CAN I GIVE as freely as I receive? Can my children GIVE? Luke 12:27-NIV  "Consider how the lilies grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 28 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith! 29 And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. 30 For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them. 31 But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well. 32 "Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom. 33 Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will not be exhausted, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. 34 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Follow your money trail and you will find your heart. These boasters are so committed to their own agenda that they are willing to exaggerate, overstate the facts, stretch the truth, embellish a story, and even lie if it will get them the position, advantage, or goal they desire. BOASTERS- exaggerating for their own advancement DO I PROMOTE MYSELF? DO I PROMOTE MY KIDS? How do I seek advancement? 1 Peter 5:5 kjv Young men, in the same way be submissive to those who are older. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because,"God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble." 6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Don’t BOAST----LET GOD’S FAVOR do ITS WORK Boasting is manipulative distorted favor   They are arrogant, haughty, impudent, snooty, and insolent. Kjv PROUD- superior, have intellectual advantage Prov 6  one of the 7 things God hates   Do I feel the need to prove I am right? How far will I go to prove my point? When we tell our children we are proud of them, what are we PROUD OF? We can build confidence without building pride. Pride has a habit of comparison with other people and putting other down to raise ourselves up. 2 Cor 10:12-NIV We do not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some who commend themselves. When they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are not wise. 13 We, however, will not boast beyond proper limits, but will confine our boasting to the field God has assigned to us, a field that reaches even to you. What am I doing this for? Col 3:23 tell us whatever we do, do it with all of your heart and do it for the LORD

    HOME in CHRIST  9/5/2021 susan allen Ruth 3:1-NIV  One day Naomi her mother-in-law said to her, "My daughter, should I not try to find a home for you, where you will be well provided for? 2 Is not Boaz, with whose servant girls you have been, a kinsman of ours? Tonight he will be winnowing barley on the threshing floor. 3 Wash and perfume yourself, and put on your best clothes. Then go down to the threshing floor, but don't let him know you are there until he has finished eating and drinking. 4 When he lies down, note the place where he is lying. Then go and uncover his feet and lie down. He will tell you what to do." 5 "I will do whatever you say," Ruth answered. 6 So she went down to the threshing floor and did everything her mother-in-law told her to do. 7 When Boaz had finished eating and drinking and was in good spirits, he went over to lie down at the far end of the grain pile. Ruth approached quietly, uncovered his feet and lay down. 8 In the middle of the night something startled the man, and he turned and discovered a woman lying at his feet. 9 "Who are you?" he asked. "I am your servant Ruth," she said. "Spread the corner of your garment over me, since you are a kinsman-redeemer." 10 "The Lord bless you, my daughter," he replied. But if he is not willing, as surely as the Lord lives I will do it. For the man will not rest until the matter is settled today." 1 Peter 3:1-7 ESV Likewise, wives, be subject to your own husbands, so that even if some do not obey the word, they may be won without a word by the conduct of their wives, 2 when they see your respectful and pure conduct. 3 Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear— 4 but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious. 5 For this is how the holy women who hoped in God used to adorn themselves, by submitting to their own husbands, 6 as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord. And you are her children, if you do good and do not fear anything that is frightening.7 Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, (col 3:19 says don’t be bitter against them- irritated)  showing honor (giving value, dignity) to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered. (cut off from spiritual blessing) Life happens but the principles of God don’t change. Our marriage is not separate from our faith. Our marriage is not separate from our relationship with God. Prov 31:10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.12 She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.13 She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.14 She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.15 She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.16 She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.17 She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.18 She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.19 She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.20 She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.21 She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.22 She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.23 Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.24 She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.25 Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. 31 Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates. God’s order of home is not degrading…it is empowering to everyone in the home.

    HOME in CHRIST  8/29/2021 susan allen Gen 1:26 ESV 26 Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. 28 And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Gen 2:18- ESV Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.” 19 Now out of the ground the Lord God had formed every beast of the field and every bird of the heavens and brought them to the man to see what he would call them. And whatever the man called every living creature, that was its name. 20 The man gave names to all livestock and to the birds of the heavens and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper fit for him. 21 So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh. 22 And the rib that the Lord God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man. 23 Then the man said, “This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.” 24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. 25 And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed. Gen 3:1  Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the Lord God had made.He said to the woman, (SEPERATION is HAPPENING) “Did God actually say, ‘You shall not eat of any tree in the garden’?”2 And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden, 3 but God said, ‘You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that is in the midst of the garden, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.’” 4 But the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. 5 For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” 6 So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate, and she also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate. (SHE PARTOOK of the LIE and THEN SHARED it) 7 Then the eyes of both were opened, and they knew that they were naked. And they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loincloths. (THEY NOW SEE THEIR DIFFERENCES) 8 And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. 9 But the Lord God called to the man and said to him, “Where are you?” 10 And he said, “I heard the sound of you in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked, and I hid myself.” 11 He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten of the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?” 12 The man said, “The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me fruit of the tree, and I ate.” 13 Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this that you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”   And it all started with a thought that originated OUTSIDE of GOD and THEM. Gen 3:16 ESV To the woman he said, “I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth children. Your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you.”                       ^longing, craving                    ^CJB- BUT       ^reign, dominate :17 And to Adam he said, “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, ‘You shall not eat of it,’ cursed is the ground because of you; in pain you shall eat of it all the days of your life; 18 thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you; and you shall eat the plants of the field. 19 By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread THEN came JESUS Gal 3:26-29 ESV 26 for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. HOME in CHRIST starts looking totally different. Eph 5:21 ESV submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ.22 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. Men will be self-focused, self-centered, self-absorbed, self-consumed, and in love with themselves more than anyone else. As a result of this self-love, they will be driven to obtain more and more and more. These boasters are so committed to their own agenda that they are willing to exaggerate, overstate the facts, stretch the truth, embellish a story, and even lie if it will get them the position, advantage, or goal they desire. They are arrogant, haughty, impudent, snooty, and insolent. They disdain, mock, slander, and speak ill of anyone that stands in the way of their ideology and freely use foul language. In this climate, parents will no longer be able to persuade, control, lead, or exercise authority over their own children. And although people were once thankful and appreciative, they will generally become void of gratitude and will be unappreciative of everything. Impurity will seep into society and cause it to become impure, ill-mannered, unclean, indecent, coarse, vulgar, offensive, crude, lewd, and rude.  Love for and commitment for family will disintegrate, and divorce will become epidemic, with irreconcilable differences being a major factor in tearing families apart. In fact, every imaginable type of covenant will be regularly violated, and the court system will be overwhelmed as people go overboard, suing and being sued. People will generally lose the ability to say no and will be unable to control their instincts in nearly every area of life. People will become savage, and it will eventually feel like there are no laws to protect the innocent.  People will find it easy to walk away from commitments and to easily throw away relationships. They will become reckless, impulsive, and known for their enjoyment of violence. They will become full of pride and inflated with a sense of their own self-importance—to the extent that it may end up feeling like society is being hit by a typhoon; however, those menacing winds of change will eventually blow out like a storm that comes and goes. Meanwhile, people will become fixated on the unobtainable pursuit of happiness and pleasure even more than they love God. Although they may possess an outward form of religiosity, they will rebuff, refute, refuse, and reject the authentic power that goes along with genuine godliness. I urgently tell you to mentally, spiritually, and physically turn away and remove yourselves from such people. These sorts of people project themselves as “help” with the intention of gaining access into people’s homes to manipulate them—especially targeting some sincere women who feel overwhelmed by frustrations and disappointing failures in life whom the manipulators find easier to influence because they have so many unmet longings. These women are endlessly doing their very best to gain insight needed to help them navigate life, but they are perpetually unable to come to right conclusions based on truth.
