For I am thrilled to preach that everyone who believes is saved—the Jew first,  and then people everywhere! 17This gospel unveils a continual revelation of God’s righteousness—a perfect righteousness given to us when we believe. And it moves us from receiving life through faith, to the power of living by faith.  This is what the Scripture means when it says:“We are right with God through life-giving faith!”  1 John 3:1-NIV How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 2 Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known.
