For over 35 years, the Russellville Christian Center has been teaching the uncompromised Word of God. Pastors Tom and Bonnie began the church in the back of a small welding shop and have nurtured it into its current location on Lake Front Drive. Known for his practical manner of teaching, Pastor Tom has ignited hearts to the truth of God’s Word and is committed to teaching the full Gospel with simplicity.
The Russellville Christian Center has teaching for all ages. Our Children’s Church takes place during the regular Sunday morning service. The Children’s Church pastors teach the boys and girls the truth of God’s Word in a way they can understand. The Joshua Tree Youth group meets during the Sunday evening service. And our ZOE college age group meets on Wednesday nights during our regular service. In addition, we have many groups that meet for fun, fellowship and various activities each month.
We also have a spanish speaking church that meets at the same time as all other regular services.
Teaching from the Russellville Christian Center can be heard on our own radio station, KMTC 91.1 FM. KMTC plays Contemporary Christian music and is proud to be a station that the entire family can enjoy.
The Russellville Christian Center is a church:
Where people of all ages are being reached with the Gospel and are being saved every week.
Where people of all ages are being filled with the Holy Spirit.
Where people are being healed of sickness and disease by the power of God.
Where God's people are taught God's method of prosperity from the written Word.
Where people are taught how to live in faith daily and how to use their faith.
Where people are taught to love with the love of God and walk in peace.
Where people are trained by the Word of God to be overcomers in every area of life.
A Place For You
Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Ask For What Is Promised
When you ask for what is promised you will always know it is God’s will for you to have it.
2 Corinthians 1:20
You will hear Christians say, “all things are possible” But is that true? Should we be saying, all things that God promised and provided He will be willing and able to do?
I like to say it this way, God never says no to the prayer of faith (His Word)
There is no limit to the promises God will perform when you make your request according to His Word.
Being a Christian is more than an instantaneous conversion. It is a daily process whereby you grow to be more and more like Christ. Many churches of all persuasions are hiring research agencies to poll neighborhoods and asking what kind of church they prefer. Then the local churches design themselves to fit the desires of the people. True faith in God that demands selflessness is being replaced by trendy religion that serves the selfish. Our society strives to avoid any possibility of offending anyone accept God. If there is no change in a person’s life he or she must question whether or not they possess the salvation the gospel proclaims. Many who go to church have not had a life changing transformation in Christ. Those outside the church expect followers of Christ to live differently, yet today many in the church are chasing after the world, not to win them but to be like them…this is dangerous. It should not be surprising if people believe easily in a god who makes no demands but this is not the God of the Bible. Satan has cleverly mislead people by whispering that they can believe in Jesus without being changed but this is the devil’s lie. To those who say you can have Christ without giving any thing up, satan is deceiving you. Billy Graham
